    Thanks for giving me more fuel btw...take Collberg and compare him to Jarnkrok in the SEL at the same age. It makes our trade even worse.

    This^^ Id like to know how many teams offered even a 2nd for Quincey the year we gave a 1st for him. Im coming to think Holland doesnt make trades because he has no ability to haggle or even take advantage of circumatance.

    He could, and from most reports of him, will be everything that Legwand is and more after those two years tho. Its why trading Schenn for Kesler made no sense. You only make trades like that when you're one move away from a Cup. This is a bandade on a grenade wound.

    Exactly...he's always been compared to Zetterberg.

    Penner for a 4th....steal. Fasth for a 4th...maybe the steal of the season. Other than the Vanek return to Buffalo Vanek for a 2nd and Collberg...HUGE trade for Montreal. Just what this says to your team and fans is enough but he is exactly what they need...ive seen rentals of his pedigree go for three times that much. And there are more.

    This is so short sighted. Actually Jarnkrok is out performing Sheahans rookie AHL year and he actually has an excuse (moving from the big ice) to have a rough transition. Just because Sheahan is on the big club doesnt mean he's better. Sheahan is likely a third line player long term. If were lucky, he's somewhere between Abby and Mule. Jarnkrok has always been billed as a poor mans Zetterberg and has been playing against men since he was 17.

    Actually, this year, you didnt. A 2nd and Collberg for Vanek, mid level picks for Penner, Robidas, Fasth, Hemsky, etc. Holland offered to pay full price (arguably more) at a clearance rack.

    Me too...they promise him a spot on the big club and i think he'll stay. This has Erat/Forsberg writtwn all over it.

    Says who?!?! Jarnkrok has been our top prospect for years until Mantha came. Per THN and RWC. This year he struggled but even then they were saying his potential landed him between Filppula and Zetterberg and his floor was Legwand.

    It means that the Preds had no leverage to command more for him...just like Iginla last year...Legwand decides where he goes. And we still got fleeced.

    Yea...its very difficult. Unless Jarnkrok was trying to be Radulov...i would rather us miss the playoffs and keep Jarnkrok than trade him for a pittance. Its not worth losing a guy like that to try to make the playoffs without Z, Pav, possibly Helm now and all our other daily injuries.

    He's a Freaking UFA...What should we have traded for two months of, at best, a 2nd line center?!! Hemsky went for a third and a fifth, Penner for a 4th, etc..

    Exactly...thats for sure now. Ive given him the benifit of the doubt for far too long...the Quincey trade and now this...how can he not have seen how discounted all these guys were? Jarnkrok should have only went out in a trade for Kesler. Jarnkrok could be better than Legwand in two years...and Eaves...AND a third.

    Im so angry...Holland just does teams favors. Yzerman is enjoying his young goalie prospect that we gave him for the joke known as Kyle Quincey. Poile gets on of our most highly rated prospects for the last five years for a 33 year old 3rd line Center (on a good team). This is Erat/Forsberg bad.

    I bet Holland doesnt care...Legwand is a Holland guy and Vanek isnt. Holland wouldnt trade for Lemieux if he lazily backchecked.
