    Ken Holland's Moves From 2009-2014

"Hey prime, what are you up to tonight?" a friend casually asked. Who me? Oh, just sippin' on some Capri-Sun and filling in a couple new lines on Ye Olde Spreadsheet.

21 games to make it 23 years

Dekeyser isn't a prospect. He's a roster player. So yeah, ALL OF THE PROSPECT RANKINGS ARE WRONG!!!
  3. Left for about 5 hours. "This" is still going on. Guess I'll have to excuse myself for another few. Hope I don't miss any LOLs.
  4. Actual trades made today say pretty much otherwise.
  5. The "hockey-trades" on defense were just not there. Let's not pretend that there were any made today that we missed out on. Andersson, Sheahan, Glendening, Emmerton as our Centermen for the next three weeks made trading for a Center a high priority if making the playoffs for the Detroit Red Wings is a desired result for Holland. It obviously is.

Katie Strang ‏@KatieStrangESPN 4m #Isles Snow said MTL deal was their best offer "by far" and that Isles felt "very fortunate" to have made that trade Guessing everyone was shortchanging Snow because they KNEW he had to make a move on Vanek. ...and trolling the Isles is the thing to do.
  7. Well, actually... because of all the injuries he kinda is a #1C. No matter what any of us say or think.

Really surprised we made no moves on D. HOWEVER. Arguably, the best D-man to be moved was MacDonald and the price of a 2nd (2015) 3rd (2014) and F prospect is pretty steep for a rental. None of the D-men moved today, are better than calling up a prospect from Grand Rapids and cost us nothing. No picks. Conditional or otherwise. No prospects. So, I'm fine with that. It's not as if Edler or Ehrhoff was moved anywhere else and we once again... "missed out."
  9. Then he should, "act like a man," not talk about exiting back to Europe, and stick around the Griffs until it's his time.

He's certainly getting grilled about MSL. Hell, he got a 1st, conditional, 2nd, and Ryan Callahan! YOU LEAVE STEVIE ALONE!!

Trade deadline fast approaching - who should we target?

Jesus. This music behind the Yzerman clip... really playing up the drAHHH-MAHHHH.
  13. BWAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAA! Okay! Now I'm smiling again.
  14. Honestly didn't know about the desire by Jarnkrok to return to Europe until just now. Yes, it would. Yes, they do. Thanks for talking me down.
  15. No. With transfer agreements and such, he'd be a Euro prospect for Nashville.
  16. EDIT: BobMcKenzie is seconding the prospects of Jarnkrok returning to Europe rather than staying NA. Obviously, Nashville will try and take a shot at keeping him in NA, but who knows??
  17. Gord Miller ‏@GMillerTSN 1m Nashville traded David Legwand to Detroit for Patrick Eaves, Calle Jarnkrok and a 3rd round pick. goddamnit. Poille is a friggin' genius. Fleecing the Caps for Forsberg, and now the Wings for Jarnkrok.
  18. Speculation abound. The Khan tweet scares the s*** out of me. Absolutely ridiculous if true.
  19. Guys! Breathe. Jarnkrok being involved in this trade is no where near being confirmed. Again, BREATHE. Even Ferraro is pure speculation.
  20. Again with the 97.1?? C'mon!

Exactly. No way he's coming back next year. I like the guy, and I wish him nothing but the best in Nashville. Someone mentioned that moving Eaves is doing him a favor... and I agree Eaves being moved will net him some playing time with a team that needs offense.
