We're not winning either. Which, for once, is not the fault of the players in front of the goaltender. -

Falling right out the Vezina race in this here game. Which is fine! Means we can pay him more favorably. -

...and typically, when they have a bad game. They get the hook and get to rest. Something Mrazek just might need. -

Awwww hell yeah. Abs with the nice Holmstromesque screen too. -
...about freaking time. I have no love for the Wild, but Yeo always seemed over his head.

#FREEJIMMY (No really, what will you give us for him? No we don't want to retain any salary. Pleaseandthankyouverymuch.)
-
Won't be that bad for them cap wise. E. Kane is signed for only two more years. Moulson for three. Bogo and O'Reilly are the only players signed long term.

Came in at the right time! LGRW! -
Agreed, but when your line mates are Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin... and even if you're seemingly just a marginal talent, you should be able to put some points on the board. Who have they been working with earlier this season and how did they fair? TBH, I never see Dallas games.
-
I think I see him hiding somewhere in there!

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/winnipeg-jets-sign-star-defenceman-dustin-byfuglien-to-five-year-contract-extension/ 5 years ain't so bad for all those speculating that he'd get 7 or 8 years. Is body mass to point production ratio an advanced stat yet? Get on it math nerds.

It's true, in the past they have spent top dollar for mid-level talent. I will say that Shanny and the braintrust do seem to know what they're doing when it comes to getting rid of those contracts that have been weighing them down. Clarkson -- gone. Kessel -- gone. Phaneuf -- gone. Sure, they may have taken equal salary back in the form of players that they don't really want or need out of that deal, but those dollars won't be around as long as the Phaneuf contract would be. Now, Phaneuf can now go and be what he is... a very good, albeit *ahem* highly paid, 3 - 4 guy. As far as Stammer. Absolutely. He should sign a shorter contract so that once TO gets themselves together, he can go off and play there. It's not as if the dude can't and won't make money for the rest of his career. Just depends on how much he wants to win vs. how flexible he is when it comes to dollars and term.
-
However Stammer has said that he wants to win another Cup... which even with Stamkos is still a long way off for Toronto.

Thank God he's not coming here.
