Lotta pucks sailing through the slot going East West instead of at the net. -
There's no way the Jets are getting a first, prospect and a 2nd round pick for either of those guys. That might be the asking price, but there's no way anyone is giving up close to that for either. ...so, Byfuglien won't be held accountable for his conditioning then? He'll just be a fat tub rolling in fat stacks sitting his fat butt on the bench? Is that your expectation?

Did I ever suggest giving up Goose for a rental? Again. Does Byfuglien have a problem for getting in shape for the season? That is my question. There is no doubt that Buff enjoys himself in the offseason, but has it affected his ability to get in game shape? (...and by that I mean, the shape that he gets into to be an effective and intimidating presence both in the offensive and defensive zones.) Do you think that both he and the teams that are looking to sign him don't know that he's 30 years old and that his effectiveness at 260lbs+ in the upcoming years may be different than at ages 26-30? Also, a first, plus prospect, plus second rounder is not overpayment for Byfuglien and Ladd. Unless you're saying a first, prospect, and 2nd rounder for each... it's hard to tell what you're suggesting.

Jeez. Quit with the weight shaming already. Seriously. I'd like to know where his teammates/coaches/trainers have complained about his **IN SEASON** conditioning... Not some blowhard media guy, speculating blogger or interweb haterz talking outta their ass. ...and for the record, I think we should trade for Buff. If he can't be had at the deadline, go hard for him in free agency.

whatever you want it to mean. it's a flawless post. -
There's no denying that Buff is a big boy, but when has it actually affected his ability to play?

POST REPORTED FOR OVER ANALYSIS OF A SKILLS COMPETITION.
-
Does a 20 year old Gartner have a chance at rookie of the year? ...oh wait, he kinda did. Jeez. Do we really need to analyze the fastest skater competition this much? The kid beat the record. That's it.

Phenomenal. Humble. Funny. Kids gonna be great for the forseeable future.

WOW! Slips and still beats it. WOW!!

Lets go Buff.

Saad with the win. Duchene with the better haircut.

For the record... and I know I've "seemingly" given the guy some s***, but I hope John Scott destroys Shea Weber in the hardest shot competition. ....and if he doesn't... he grabs him by the head and smashes him against the glass. ...and I thought he was in the paczki eating competition!! I'm a pint of bloody mary and two beers in. Should be great... except I work at 8am. Which part did you *thumbs up* HM60? Sorry with my x3post/edits. I'm highly manic right now.

Because if we want him suspended, we're lumped in the anti-violence/anti-fighting in hockey crue... Not that fighting between players on the ice and crosschecking a linesman have any correlation what-so-ever. ...but even more to the point, isn't that counter-intuitive? If we're all pacifists and we want him justice through suspension... why would we form a inherently violent, vigilante type of operation with torches, pitchforks, etc (aka a lynch mob) to go after Wideman? #justsayin'

Hey Echolalia, Wanna help this non-hockey playing dude draft up a list of seven hundred current players from any level of hockey that are better than John Scott so I can present the list to him, in person, the next time the Coyotes are in town? ...oh wait. He plays for the Habs now... or not really?

Just wanted to know your thoughts.
