You guys need to factor in the buyouts. We might see 1 or 2 decent players in the mix this summer. You know, decent players with insane contracts? I still would have liked Holland to do something. Oh well.

Jimmy D embarrassed the Wings organization last fall with his farm animals comments, and got fined for it as well. It wouldn't be a big stretch of the imagination to see him retiring, Holland moving up, and Nill as GM. I guess that leaves Lids to come scoop up his Assistant GM position.

Crazy. He's had a really bad season, but I didn't expect him to throw a fit and retire. What's going on there? He's got a good 4 or 5 years of playing left.

This is all pretty accurate, I'd say. Except for one thing....Mr. I will most likely be stepping down/back in the not-too-distant future. His son Christopher would probably be taking the reins, and who knows what changes could be made. Still, Holland is not going anywhere until that happens, and even then....

Not playing in the AHL hurt him. Yeah, forming some chemistry with Z playing in Switzerland was huge, but it doesn't seem to be enough to carry him to playoff time. Maybe he will get a second wind then, lets hope. On the outside chance that the Wings don't make the playoffs, do you send Brunner to GR for their playoffs? -
If Huskins can get a conditional 7th pick, Cleary should be worth more than waiving.....yes?
