Interesting trade. The Jackets have been so high on Brassard for a couple years now. Injuries have prevented him from developing faster.

Of course, the only 2 games I can go to, Atlanta and Carolina, are on weeknights and force me to take time off work. Oh well, at least I'll be able to get $3 on stubhub. That whole hockey in the south thing is really working out.

There has to be something going on here. Halak must have not wanted to stay in Montreal and maybe someone in the Blues organization (and probably other teams) knew this. Montreal didn't have much to bargain with if Halak had made it clear he wasn't going to re-sign with them. On the bright side, my Price jersey isn't out of date... for now.

Honestly, I don't care/doesn't offend me that they were chanting it. I just find it amusing that they felt the need to chant it when their playoff run didn't include playing Detroit. That's all.

His interview after the game was ridiculous. His comment about "I just hope there's some girls out there that like me" was dumb. I understand he is 20 years old but please. You won the Cup, show some dignity and class instead of hollering at your boys.

If Chicago is going to win it I'd rather them do it in Philly. If not I want them to lose in 7. I don't hate the Hawks just their fans. And Kane. And Byfuglien. I'd say Chicago holds the advantage in OT just because they look like they've had the legs all game.

I was 12 years old and I was out camping when this happened. Got home and read it in the newspaper and I thought it was no big deal. The severity of it didn't hit me until they gave him the standing ovation in Washington. I think that was when I realized he would't ever play again. I was too young to really realize how good both of them were at that point in their careers. However, I know several people who would 100% agree with you. I believe Vladdy was the runner up for the Norris that year too.
