I'm going to quot my wife and say that in last nights game,you could tell who wanted it and who was a mill fat cat.the boys from GR were making the plays and the fat cats were giving it away. -
I always go back to the trade that was suppose get a SC,the trade for Robert Lang.The propect went on to score 20goals a year and the draft pick wound up being Green(who we all know has made the all star team a couple of years).Lang was a wash!

I don't why they have not already signed campbell-plays alot minutes good with the puck can play powerplay and can score it's no brainer.a vet and not as old as dirt.get it done and go after semin and ryan and Detroit will be ready for a cup run.

I agree about Helm,he belongs on the third line.I also believe it would really great if they could win the cup without the big free agents you'all say they need.Also I like Semin on Pav's line and I wonder if removed from Ovechkin's shadow if we wouldn't see a different Semin? -

My reason for liking Jokinen is he's bigger than Hudler.He's cheaper than Parise and Detroit don't need to get as involved ( # of years on the contract).Put him on the second line and let him do his stuff.He's also I believe cheaper than Semin, who will not take a pay cut.So you're looking 5.5 or 6 mil.I think you can get Jokinen for 4.5 for 3years.

Why not Olli Jokinen I wouldn't give Quincey that much,he's not worth that much.I rather have another rookie that him.

I heard Curt Freaser talking about him being in G.R. next year.I can not see ruining his live over something the law says he's not guilty of.And he can't go back to B.U. so sign him.

My question is what if Detroit not able to sign Suter or Stuwart.Then what do they do,with Smith they would have only 5 d-men.

They'll come up with the cash,they have too(you go to the finals and let your "C" get signed away).If you had cash problem with him, think what it will be like without him.Would you want to go see them play,not me.

Well here I go again,but I don't think any of us need talk about Parise anymore.He's not leaving NJ now that they're in the finals.As for Brunner if they sign him he'll go to Grand Rapids.GR had 5 or6 rookies last year and will have 4 or 5 this year.I don't believe Detroit should set pat either.That's why Holland get paid the big bucks!

I agree.I was hoping for more from him and Louis-Marc Audry because of there size.I keep hearing Micky Redmond say how big St.Louis is and how small Detroit is and know Detroit needs size.

Before you can go modeling after anybody you must start with a goaltender as good as Quick.Howard is not that.

Good! You can have him,because Detroit don't need another under 6' forward.If the forwards they have would have preformed up to there standards they would still be playing.They were second in the league or third in goals in season.

Zack Parise and 30 goals aren't going to help you against Nashville or St.Louis ,two the biggest teams in the NHL.Goals was not Detroit's problem during the season.The playoffs they got pushed around.

I think as much as you may want Suter,he'll resign with Nashville.As for Quincey I think he's a waste.Smith has gotta start and Kindl gotta stay(#1 draft pick)or you got to get something for him.Can you think what someone like Columbus would give for a player under contract and seasoned like Kindl.All of you keep talking about is getting Semin,Parise and Suter.Were are you going to put them or were are you going with the players that are already here.

Someone yesterday brought up that Detroit ought to keep there eye on Tomas Tatar.The response was that Detroit didn't need another 5'10" 180lb forward,well isn't that what Zack Parise is? Semin 6'2" 209ibs

I like your line-up but all I want to know is when are we going to get some youth playing from own system.What if Juro comes to camp next year and you have to play him(meaning he shows he that good) than what.
