Why is there no video of Datsyuk's 900th point on NHL.com yet? -

It also wasn't a late hit like the one on Jurco, and the head contact appeared to be more incidental than targeted. -
I'm really surprised people are having problems with the streaming, my experience has been the opposite. It used to lag and drop resolution levels constantly and since the change its been the best streaming experience I've ever had, even the audio is crisper. The app design is awful however, it's much more difficult to navigate to the boxscore and the layout is a jumbled mess.
-
I agree it's horrible, but the playback quality on Game Center has improved drastically for me since the change though, so that's a plus.

Dylan Larkin exists.

No, he was at his grandfather's funeral.

My understanding is that teams put in their claim during the 24 hour period and at the end the team lowest in the standings that made a claim gets the player. So no matter what a decision wouldn't be made until tomorrow at noon. -

Note to self: Go to Chippewa Street. -
How he does that and still only work 3 days a year is beyond me.
-
Which would make them 2-1 against us.

The lack of assist explanation was that Lindholm shot the puck in his own net, therefore only the last redwing to touch the puck would get on the score sheet. Apparently that's a rule, I was unaware of it until Ken Daniels brought it up. -
Jesus H. Christ on a Popsicle stick this isn't about the skill level it's about handedness and propensity towards TYPE of skill. Pulkinen is most assuredly more skilled at sniping than stick handling just as Datsyuk is most assuredly more skilled at stick handling than sniping.
-
Sniper does not necessarily mean top goal scorer. Hull is a sniper, Pulk is a sniper, Kane and Datsyuk are stick handlers. At least if I understood KRSmith's meaning.

Lidstrom won the Norris with a -2.

I think you can do that if you only ice four skaters.

They are 12-3-1 since Dan Cleary joined the team.

TSN: Pascal Dupuis retiring due to medical condition

If Franzen actually retires, doesn't his contract (or some of it) count against the cap? Wouldn't it be better to pull a Pronger? -

The Red Wings could end up tied for 5th in the league after tonight, that's an incredible turn around after the early part of the season. -

Plus he doesn't sell it anymore, like another poster said earlier it looks lazy. He doesn't cut hard and force the goalie to take the fake seriously. -

What is Datsyuk thinking? Is his long term plan to do that move so many times so that when he finally changes it up the goalie is completely caught off guard? -

She made you a hoodie? From scratch? Katie Strang has got skills. -
Definitely, I think it's an improvement over the shootout, and certainly more entertaining as there's intensity. Sometimes I think overtime should first go to four on four, then end in a tie, but with no points awarded.
-
I don't think there's a realistic way to please everyone, so I'm ok with the 3 on 3 because it's at least fun, I'd just prefer ties.
-
People certainly prefer it to the shootout because it amps up the intensity as opposed to eliminating it like the shoot out did, but I'd rather have ties than either. That being said, I do enjoy watching them.

Tough to gain ground, Ottawa wins, Boston already up 2-0 on Vancouver. Hopefully the Sharks beat the Lightning tonight.
