I still say that we'd be giving up way to much for Witt, and Witt is getting old anyways. I'd rather go with the young defensman that we have in the minors, and see how they do, and if a trade is needed, then Holland will make one.
-
With there being 29 other NHL teams in the league, let someone else take a crack at him and see if he can make their team. In my general opinion though, Eriksson was better than Bykov.
-
Since he wants to go back to St. Louis, I'd just forget about the idea of him coming here and letting him go back to St. Louis. I don't have a clue why he wants to go back so bad, but he sure hell isn't going to win a cup there if that's what he has in mind.
-
I'd personally rather not to any trades with Columbus now that we play them 8 times a year now.
-
Sounds like everything that Eklund posts on his website is garbage.

I don't. But when you posted this forum, Stevenson was only on waivers. When I posted the forum in the general discussion, Stevenson was claimed off of waivers by the Dallas Stars. I'd just say that you started the chain by informing all of us in the Trade Rumor Forum, and then I finished it by posting that he was claimed off of waviers by someone in the General Discussion Forum. So basically, all is good.

Check the General Discussions forum. I've already posted it with a link.

Mmhmm. Funny that I state my own opinion and never have said anything you've done nor posted. And you've just total reamed me for that, and plus for no reason. I don't get that.

Hudler in my opinion is much better than McAmmond is. He just needs to develope his skills ASAP for next year, or he will end up in the doghouse for whoever he ends up playing with in the NHL or minors. Woolley right now to me is a hell of a lot better than Weinrich. Weinrich is way to old, and Woolley is a defensive defensman that we need to keep on the team, because I believe that he's our only defensive defenseman on the team. Weinrich and McAmmond are both washed up, and they would be worthless on our team. Whatever we'd give out for s**ty players would be a total loss for the Wings. Also, I don't like that fact of trading players with teams we'll be playing 8 times a year from now on.

Ture or not true, I don't think we need Witt. For one thing, Witt is getting old, and we someone who's young. Lebda's been really good this year, and Kyle Quincey will most likely make the team next year. I'd say we just ride this year out with the defenseman that we have, and do what's nessicarry for our team this upcoming offseason.
-
I'd like Doan here, don't get me wrong on that, but we'd have to give up way to much in my opinion for him. But again, I don't think that any moves are needed right now for the Wings.
-
There is no way in hell that Pittsburgh would take Mowers for Jackman. Pittsburgh wants to go through a youth movement, and they're not going to get rid of Jackman who's been a one point predicted to be a very good defenceman.
-
I like the ideas, but with the salary cap and all, none of those players are possible to get here in Detroit this year. They would help out the team though.
-
I don't like any of the offered idea trades, but it's cool that your at least thinking in realms to help out the team. Also, like someone else said earlier on the first trade, none of those teams would take those trade ideas. Personally, I don't think that any moves are needed for the Wings right now.

Damnit. I really wish I could go, but I need to stay here at college this weekend. Thanks for the notice.
-
I really don't see any way in hell why Columbus would trade for Lang. I just don't see it, and they won't.
-
I'd really like it if we could bring in Komisarek, because I had heard a few years back that he's supposed to be pretty good in the future.
-
I'd like Witt here, but only because of the experience part of it. And he is tough. Lilja hasn't been bad, but I'm not going agree with gobias and say that he's better. Witt has been around longer, and his experience would also help. And also gobias, Lilja is going to be 31 years old this year, and that shows that he's not great then Witt. You don't break into the NHL on a fluke chance. Witt proved that he was ready to come in the NHL when he got his chance to prove it, and so yeah, Witt is better in some ways. But I'm not going to start dreaming of trades to come up with for him, because I don't want Witt through a trade.
-
Even though they're in the craps right now, after the great season start, I don't think any big moves or trading away thier really good players is going to happen this season. The Canadiens now know they they've got something good going on, and they'll get even better next year I believe.
-
I still say no way to this, and after him being traded and wanting to go back to St. Louis next year, I'd say let him go back, because he's dumb enough to really want to go back to a team that totally sucks. And plus, St. Louis won't be making it back to the playoffs any time soon since they're now going to go through a rebuilding process. I want to give the young guys in Grand Rapids more of a chance.
-
Both are worthless. Weinrich was good, and is still okay, but he's getting old. We really don't need to get anymore defenseman that are aging. We need to start getting younger at that position. And McAmmond is a journeyman for a reason. The guys don't good for St. Louis, and I'm surprised. The guy couldn't do anything with the other teams he's played for. He was supposed to be good in scoring when he started in the NHL, but never developed at that. He spent more time in the penalty box than anything else. So basically, pass, and I don't want to do deals with teams that we'll be playing 8 times a year from now on anyways. To me it would be stupid, unless totally neccessary.

I could happen, but the fact that the kid posted the trade on his own only makes me think that he just wants to only make a name for himself, and to get a little attention, and that's why he did that. Just my general opinion, but again, almost any trade in sports is possible to a certian degree.
