I can see that working in a game, but in real life, that's not possible. Lamothe isn't with the Wings anymore, and from what I can recall right now, he's not with any team, but I could be wrong on that. That trade in the game would be good, and I'd do it too. Though, I wouldn't of thought it up on my own. The computer would have to offer that to me.

They had a veteran center in Petr Nedved, but Nedved wasn't doing the job like they exspected him to. So now, why would they want another one. I know Lang is still good, but the trust of having a veteran center might not be there anymore, and they might now want to go with their young core. I for one don't think Lang's that bad, but again, I'll just be ripped on for saying that, and I don't think changes are needed at the moment.
-
I wouldn't mind this in a way, but I wouldn't give up Lang. I don't think he's as bad as most people think. To much negativity on the guy on this cite, when he's a good player. (Bash me all you want for saying that, and I won't give a damn) The only thing about Witt is, he's getting old as well. I know people like him, because he's a pain in the ass to get around, and he's good, but he might not be here for long. And the Wings are doing really good too. I don't know why people are getting so uptight about they're play. As long as we stay playing like this, and being first or second in the conference, we're playing damn good. Nobody should be panicing right now. Until something bad happens, which won't, then you can go spazzo.

I don't see how you can really relate Osgood's numbers with Legace's numbers, because Legace has played at best half of the amount of games that Osgood has in the past three years. Yeah, Osgood's numbers were crap, but that's because he played for the New York Islanders and the St. Louis Blues, and they weren't any better then when Osgood played for them. But yes, I do trust Babcock to play however is playing the best, especially during playoff time.

We have damn good scouts, so I'd someone who's young, and has a lot of potential to stay here in Detroit for quite a while, and carry this team far.

I would like to see Weight here, but not through a trade this season. Like a lot of people have been saying, we're stacked at center. We are short in right wings though I do believe. Anyways, Weight also does make quite a bit of money, and we couldn't afford to get him, unless we were to trade two to three guys to fit his salary under the cap. Right now, his salary is way to big to get, even if we just traded away Robert Lang. Again, I wouldn't mind Weight in Detroit, just not through a trade.

We don't really need more offense. We have enough. And if they play on the top of their games like tonight, then they'll do just fine. We have great offensive scoring talent. If we need anything, it would be just a little more physicality on defense.

Well with Fischer out now, does anybody feel like Woolley is don't any better now at this point of the season? I haven't watched a whole hell of a lot of games recently, but I was just wondering.

In a way, I'm kinda surprised, because he did spend a few years in Nashville, so I thought that he would've gotten some good training there. Oh well. He's got good size, and he's physical, so I really don't know why no one in his life taught he how to use it properly, unless he didn't listen to them.

next seasons free agent signing priority #1

I wouldn't mind Jay McKee coming here, but I wouldn't mind Norstrom either. I'd like Norstrom better, because I think that he's more physical. We need someone to pair up with Lidstrom in my opinion. -
I would do the trade of Manlow for Laflamme. Manlow just isn't really that good, and Laflamme he some good experience, and has played in a lot of games. He's better in general. The Mowers for Worrell is pointless like you said, but you stated that there were pros and cons in that trade, which was good. I like Mowers better in that trade, because he's a fast young skater, and Worrell can't skate if his life depended on it.

I just checked to see if I could find it for you, but I can't find it. I'll let you know if I find another way to find it.

No, this year isn't great for him, but next year may be, because he's a good goaltender. I really do thing that a lot of the really good goalies arn't doing as well this year either is because I don't think that they've really still gotten used to the smaller pads. Call me stupid on that, but I do kinda believe that. But we really can't rip on all of the goalies in the league till we see what happens next year and the playoffs this year.

Try looking it up on Amazon.com.

I kinda find that classy from Richardson, because he's a nasty hard hitting player, which is not bad at all. I just find that inspiring, because it shows that he's not selfish.
-
Even though he's a local boy, that wouldn't stop me from using him in a trade if I could to make the team better if I were the general manager of the Pittsburgh Pinguins. Pittsburgh needs help fast, and I don't know how they're going to do it, but they need it someway or another.
-
I'd probably only take Bell and Vandermeer.
-
I would never do this trade if I was the general manager of the St. Louis Blues. I know that St. Louis is struggling a lot this year, but giving away Jackman would make it worse, and not because they're trading for Lang. Lang's good and all, but to trade away their most likely be defenseman right now would kill things for St. Louis.
-
Not a huge surprise. Turco is very popular in Dallas, and he's a good part of their team. He's good too, and I'm not surprised that he was re-signed. The Wings will now really just have to wait till the free agency period during the off-season.
-
I wouldn't do the deal either, and totally pass on it. Zetterberg is a major part of our future, and to trade him would be totally stupid. Legace I wouldn't want to trade either, but for no really special or main reasons. I rather keep Legace and wait till the off-season, and sign a goaltender that's the best on the market then. If Legace has a year left, he can go back to back-up, and Osgood will be gone after this year anyways. But then, if Legace does have a year or two left here, question is do you want him to be your number one back-up again, or do something with him so Howard can back-up the new goalie, if we do go out and sign one? Brodeur is old, and with the new rules, it just doesn't seem like his time is with him anymore, and that wouldn't do us any good.

I think that's a good thing for Sykora. He needs to be with a better team to get a better chance to win the cup. He's too good of a player to just stay with the Mighty Ducks for the rest of his carrer. I don't know who the defenseman is that went to the Mighty Ducks, but hopefully it's someone that will help the Mighty Ducks. I think that the trade is equally good for both teams too.

Ah no, I'm not drunk, unless you take Diet Pepsi Caffeine Free as an alcoholic drink. And no, Torres did not get better in your sleep. And if you two are so eager to hear me say I was wrong, YES, I was wrong. I wrote it at like 3am, so you'll have to give me a break on saying something wrong. So, with that out of the way, and being more awake, Torres wouldn't be in my top five of choices of becoming a Wing. He's not worth anything. All Edmonton does for me is frustrate me, because they are the couple of teams that have struggled some over the years, but always give the Wings a hard time.
-
The Red Wings wouldn't just give up Torres for only Hudler and Osgood though. It would take so much more. If it was just for those two, we would have to throw in a 2nd round pick or something. Or maybe they would ask for one of our better minor leaguers. If we were to get lucky, we could throw in Mowers or Rivers, but that wouldn't do anything most likely.

There's no reason or explanation for what I said, and the part you highlighted, was not correct either. And in all fairness, you're right, you didn't do any of that. And again, I'm very sorry. I did misread your statement, and that's totally my fault, and it was wrong of me to post what I did. Now, if you accept my apoligies, cool, and if not, understandable. One more comment though. Whenever you have time (and I don't know if you've done this), go out and rent ESPN 2K6 for hockey, because I played it, and I feel that it's a totally much better game than NHL 2006, in my opinion. It just seems more realistic, and that's what I like in sports games. Just a thought that you may like to try if you haven't.

Look dude, I'm very sorry for what I said, and it was totally not called for at all. I really pissed me off that you would do that, when you put post something, and someone comments, and then you bash them. Now I'm no different okay. Reall, I'm not. I've done some arguing too on this cite, and I'm not happy about it, because's it's not worth it or right at all. Now don't get to excited, and start sending me hate letters here okay. I went to far in what I said, and I'm truely sorry. I hope that you understand what I'm trying to stop on this whole forum. And again, I'm sorry that I said that so meanly.
