youssp9 : Stop being an ass. You are the best clear example of why this cite is so god damn hard to post anything. You come up with an idea, TNBT comments, and you f---king bash him. Why? I don't give a crap if I get kicked off this cite or suspended for a little time. I'm sick and tired for coming home from work, and reading comments that jerks like you make. Now go ahead, bash me. I don't care. All it shows is how ignorant you are, and don't reply to me that you were GOOFING around with TNBT. If you don't like what he says, or you just had a bad day, keep it to yourself. And one other thing, don't reply by saying "okay mother," because than I will start parenting you.

Sorry for sending it twice guys and gals. Computer got slow on me.

Thanks TNBT, but I really wasn't looking and asking for a life lesson there. I'm very glad that you were able to fill me in though, because I didn't know how crappy the Blackhawks goaltender position in their minors was that bad. But in all reality of the new league, their's now way in hell to get Bulin. He's too much. It would put us over the cap, and unlike the Yankees, the NHL doesn't have a luxury system. And you know, I know that the goaltender poistion sucks for them. I'm not doing the math worth s*^t though, because I'm too lazy to look into what you said. But also understand this TNBT, the Blackhawks go through goalies like the Miami Dolphins go through running backs and the Chicago Bears go through quarterbacks. Just to many people going through that franchise for one position in recent years. And don't get me wrong, I'm really happy that you filled me in on the facts, because I seriously didn't know. Bulin's not coming, and for now, that's fine with me. I reather wait till the off-season free agency period to get a goalie if the Wings do.

I'm sorry that I've singled you two out, and Red-Wing so soon, but just so everyone knows, I'm at fault too. I've done some arguing too on this forum. I'm just sick and tried or reading this everyday I long on. You two are fine Red-Wing and Idaho Winger, and I'm sorry for singleing you two out, but it's so everyone knows that it needs to stop NOW.
-
Red-Wing and Idaho Winger: Both of you cut it out now. We don't need this on the forum. This is exactly why this forum is so god damn hard to post anything, because people B!^$h back and forth with each other. Red-Wing, you're fine, and ignore what people say. Idaho Winger, leave him alone. If you don't like what he says, write it down on paper, and post it on a wall in your room or something. Everybody in this forum has an opinion, and has every right to say it. This was meant to be a friendly forum, but sadly enough, it's not totally that way. If people on this cite don't agree, then keep it to yourselve's. Comment's of 2 year olds are not needed on this forum. Cut it out NOW. I'm sick of reading people bicker back and forth. Everybody, including me, needs to take a deep breath, and let people say what they want to say.

No, Boston can't take and pay off some of Murray's contract if he's traded here. Most of those contracts are in the MLB. I would like Murray here too, but the price may be too much if we could get him here. I didn't hear about the Murray think of asking for a trade, but if he did, we'll see where he ends up. I think the teams good now, they just got to start playing the way they've always played. They've been in a somewhat slump since the Fischer incident, and I can't blame them, but they need to get back on track.
-
With a new cap, and trading as hard as it is now, what do you expect Holland to do this year before March Red-Wing? Most goaltenders have huge contracts, and it makes it hard for trades. Plus, a few have gone on waivers, but Holland's never even made a try to contact them. Legace will still be under contract next season, but Osgood won't. I think the wings will have to ride the season out with Legace and Osgood, and we can go fetch for somebody next off-season. Legace could use his glove if he's not using it, but hopefully that'll come with time. Hopefully. I really don't care that he doesn't use it. I care more about our goaltenders stopping shots.
-
We wouldn't trade our number one goaltender. That'd be stupid. Just use common sense. If you have a decent starting goaltender, why trade him when your back-up sucks and only does average at best. For people who think that if we trade away Legace is going to solve the problems for the wings this year, dream on. I see Legace staring the whole year and in the playoffs, and Osgood being back-up. Howard will spend his whole time in the AHL when both Legace and Osgood are healthy. Holland will NOT trade any of them.
-
Good point taken. Sorry for coming across the way I did.
-
Point being I'm wrong, or are you just fixing my little mistakes that I made in the last second.
-
There is no way Holland is going to trade Draper, and it would make no sense whatsoever to trade him either. Draper is probably the BEST defensive-forward in the NHL right now. Yes, Draper could bring in some good defenseman if we traded him, but that defenseman could not pick up the slack that we lose trading Draper. I also know that you all say that Franzen and Cleary can pick up Draper's slack, but they can't. Maltby and Draper are one of the best or could be the best defensive-forward pairs in the NHL right now. Trading Draper who be a huge mistake for the wings if they do it. I veto the idea of trading Draper.

What would make Chicago want another goalie after signing Bulin? I know Bulin's been sucking it up, but I don't think they want to trade for another one right now. Bell would look good in a Winged Wheel, but I think that the wings are pretty set on forwards. I like that you guys are thinking of Jackman from the St. Louis Blues. I know NN doesn't like what we all say, but now I'm joining the club. We could give the Blues Hudler and a 3rd or 4th round pick for Jackman. Jackman is a good physical defensman that would really fit in with Detroit's system. But we really shouldn't trade any of our goalies in Detroit or in Grand Rapids.
-
I don't think trading any goaltender right now is worth anything. Not even a marginal defenseman or a draft pick of any kind. We've all been talking about it, and know that the defense could use some help. But the goaltending is in that realm of the circle as well. Howard could use some more experience, but again, it would be so much better if it was in Grand Rapids than up here in Detroit for now. But that won't happen till Legace gets back into the line-up. But in reality, there is no reason for the Wings to trade any goaltender that we have, and it won't happen in the near future.
-
And how the hell were you able to somehow think to fit that Hudler and hockey go with Christ and religion? You may not want to say those things dude, because you never know who you'll offend. Your analogy is stupid in my opionion anyways, but I see your point.
-
He may be over his head, but he has no choice. Until Legace gets better, he has no choice but to stay up here. Anyways, he does get to see some NHL action early in his carrer. The only way he goes back to Grand Rapids is when Legace comes back.
-
Yes, but like you said, he needs time to develope, and this IS his first year in the league. It's not as easy as you think going from college to the NHL. And yes, he shouldn't let in short shot goals, but it happens all of the time, so get used to it. You need to give Howard more of a chance. No goalie is God like. And also, you can't tell me that people have scored short 4 ft. goals on you quite a few times.
-
There is no way that the Hawks can trade Bulin even if they wanted to. Like I said, to big of a contract for to many years. It's their own fault for being stupid.
-
I don't think that Anaheim has anything that Detroit really wants. Just for kicks though, if we were to trade with Anaheim, I would like more than anything for either Keith Carney or Ruslan Salei to become a Wing than anybody else on the roster. You guys can come up with what we should trade for them, but defense really could use some help for the long run this seaon. I like some of the forwards we got, but we do need to concentrate more on defense than offense.
-
For the Wings standpoint, I would like to keep Lang. Jay would be good. I like that. I'm not sure on Luongo though. He's been playing like crap too, so I don't think he'll do any better than any of the goalies for us. No better, but no worse.
-
I like your idea of trying to get Salei so much better though. I would rather take Salei than Asham. My opinion.
-
Also, Osgood's contract does exspire after this season, so I say we should just keep him for the season, and look for a better goalie in the off-season.
-
Dude, I knew that you were joking. I even acknowledged that at the beginning of that certain post. I wasn't mad or angry or anything either. Don't go off on me. I was just stating what I thought off of that. I wanted to post something, and your post gave me an idea. Nothing towards you dude. So sorry for the misinterpitation.
-
I'm not dogging your idea at all. I like what you're thinking. Those two wouldn't look bad at all in a Winged wheel. But your idea won't fly, because there are to many people that take offense to fantasy trades on this forum that would hate a prospect to go, even though it's only an idea.
-
Well Heaton, if you think about the way things have looked with the Wings now, and Seth's general question, you'd be able to see what he may be thinking. Red Wings scoring has been good, but there a lot of people thinking that they could use more, therefore, more offensive help. Petr Sykora has damn good skills, and would be a great player for the Wings. He's got a nice touch and shot to help the scoring catagory for any team. What he also means by bringing up Ruslan Salei is Salei is a good size defenseman that doesn't take s%*t from anybody, and is a tough guy to play against, and could take the place and fill the void of missing Fischer. That's what Seth is probably thinking, but that's the connection I get, and it's like Seth said, a general question.
