I'm proud to say that I thought that deal was completely fair. Hey... imagine if we had waited till after the playoffs to sign him. He might have gone somewhere else. EDIT: Just realized, I had way more trust in Dats to resign than I did with Zetterberg. His comments on being in Detroit seem very... reserved. I'm sure he'll resign though, he's just being safe.

Assists, Zata, Assists!!

List is spot-on. Although I haven't seen Briere too much, so I don't know how great of a stickhandler he is. Instead, I'd put Jagr in his place- great puck control, and uses his size to protect very well too. Might be the best at it; him or Thornton.

I know Zata is a natural shooter, but it bugs me when a center has about as many goals as assists. That's for right wingers. Centers should have about 15-20% more assists. Just a thing. So: Zata- 2 assists.

Richter was an elite goaltender. It surprises me that so many people here don't acknowledge that, and yet most of us got to see him play. He was almost never out of position. Is reflexes were Lundqvist-esque. He had respectable stats while playing with the 90s Rangers. That's terrific.

My favorite article was about Satan having to add another ring of hell to accommodate the fresh wave of sinners. It's about 7 years old though.

Right now I would say we have 1 good goalie. That's a pretty average situation. Hasek is about 10 pounds off of his playing weight. There's that fraction of a second.
