About 13 minutes till the puck drops.

2-1 Wings. Should be a tighter game defensively (Minnesota will be a little less lazy, and in the other corner is Zata and Lids).

Yeah, why can't he throw his body around like Lebda? Like, remember that one great hit where Lebda drifted into Langkow, bent way over, and they fell over each other? It was pretty good, considering Langkow is HUGE (5' 10", 179 lb.).

I completely missed it, but now I regret it! I had no way to watch it yet. I can hear the excitement dripping from your posts. I hope Grigs gets it together. (I predicted a 30 point season overall, with a better second half).

If you edit out the nancy part, this thread can fizzle out in peace. How much cap room do we have? Like $4 million? None of these trades are gonna happen. Michal Ryder seems most likely. Keep in mind, we still have to save room for Zetterberg.

I'll bet he's missing the Sedin Twins right about now.

I don't remember complaints, just a lot of skepticism. That's what we have here.

Oh Me by Nirvana.

Not so far as I know. I think a lot of the kids are going to be played later on. I have to check out... http://chat.kingshockey.com/roundTable.cfm if anyone else wants to keep LGW updated.
-
I think he wants to commit every penalty possible. He's well on his way.
-
I could see you saying that about just about any game.
-
Again. Nice wrister. Visnovsky limped off the ice. :/
-
Calder scored, LaCouture for Anaheim. And this is a penalty-fest.
-
Ugh- Hoffman for Anaheim 7 seconds in. http://chat.kingshockey.com/roundTable.cfm Moen penalty.
-
Scores by Gauthier, Moulson for LA. Kondratiev for Anaheim. Pronger with 2 penalties. Interference and I believe elbowing. Calder with a pretty goal... Calder took a drop pass from Armstrong in the left circle, did an in-and-out move and ripped backhand over Bryzgalov's right shoulder.

LA scored? Twice?

Update on A Short History of Tractors In Ukraine: It makes me feel helpless biologically as a man. It has a lot of great parallels, so if you pick up on subtle symbolism, this one is fun to pick through. It's almost like a mystery, too, and it has kept me wondering.

Grigs is the dark horse. Mursak probably needs more time.

Which top line is the most pathetic? What is Pheonix's top line?

Not many LGW readers, huh? After I finished Deathly Hallows, I started the series over, I'm on Goblet of Fire cause it hasn't really been my main focus. I just started Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, like interminded. I read 'Everything Is Illuminated,' also by Jonathan Safran Foer, and then I had to read more by him. I started reading this book called A Short History of Tractors in Ukraine, which is very funny, very charming, and not at all about tractors. It's almost life changing, not Everything Is Illuminated changing, but it's not a pure entetainment/no message type of book. Finally, I'm in the middle of Grendel, which is Beowulf through the eye's of the monster, and it was written in the 70s, so it's an easier read. I like to have a lot going on at once.

Me too... I feel original. It's on my profile playlist: My profile Now Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen.

I think they'll be about equal in points... but Grigs wont turn over the puck nearly as much and he plays more physically (who doesn't?). As far as speed... I think Grigs will have an edge, even after the accident. But with points, he will need time to adjust, get into NHL shape, and adapt to the speed of NHL hockey, so he wont be an immediate Shanahan replacement.

Look at the coaching staff, especially Babcock.

Panthers, Weiss agree on six-year, $18.6 million deal
Earthhuman replied to sixer's topic in General
In the NHL today, he's worth it. He had about half of Datsyuk's point production, and got less than half of Dats's contract. Datsyuk's game is all around better, so it makes sense that he would make more than double. But it's not such a stretch.
