That should lower the bids on some other pieces, at least in the forward department.

That's true but Bow-shuh-men (I wont attempt to spell it) may be able to pick up some of the slack. He is young and improving.

And that's the value of New Yorks many goalie prospects. Montoya, their new draftee Lafleur, Holt, Valiquette... It will pay off.

And yet NJ will still make the playoffs, even without Rafalski, thats almost for sure. Brodeur will rise to the challenge I think.

Without a great goaltender, they wont make it past round 1. You start at goaltending and work your way out.

Well we will win our division, so a top three spot is not a problem, but unless Holland has a good plan, we wont go past the first round. I'm sure he has it under control though.

Apparently Fernandez was not coming back... I think Minnesota took what they could get. Besides, teams like Phoenix and LA probably have their sights set on better goalies. Either that or they are sticking with what they've got because they don't have the money.

Younger people can have poor speech if they do not get enough attention. My brother would say his name was Matt 'Owuh' instead of Matt Orr. What I'm saying is that it will go away eventually as he assimilates to society.
