But we play Chicago and... who else?
-
NSH PP. Nooooo!
-
Hasek shutout! Yay! He has been very good lately. As has Osgood. <-- Especially vs. s***ville.
-
Goals by Calder, Bert, and Draper, and nobody could text me?! Oh well. good win.
-
You'd be understanding for me, right? Plus I forgot how to spell 'you' today, so I know what he means.
-
If they score someone text me: 740-550-2600

Lack of effort ALWAYS merits concern. Er, FSN Ohio I believe.
-
Well we haven't seen that # on the ice for awhile, an understandable mistake.
-
How're we looking? I live in Ohio, can't get this game. Looks like I'm not missing much?

"Well Brodeur is a whiner, he always has been, and you just have to play through that. Hopefully he'll (something along the lines of) [enjoy my ass in his face all night]." You know it must have been frustrating to play with NO talent. I might have responded the same way.

Lets-Go-Vech-kin , , *repeat*
-
If they don't make the playoffs, that's not a bandwagon team. They're called diehard fans and Toronto has any thousands.

Would be nice to see how he responds to those situations.

Q. What's the best part about living in Detroit? A. Playing for the Red Wings. Q. That is a very cute answer. A. It is the truth. Damn you guys got it first. That answer comforts me. I hope he answered the questions with good humor. What if he doesn't get American humor, yet, and he was thinking like 'what the hell is he talking about? food? shirts. Stupid American.'

He... pretends to not be cocky? I have no idea. If you pretend to not be cocky then you are not cocky. Yzerman knows he's great and he knows he's responsible for that, yet he acts like he's nothing without the fans. I'll bet he played to play, not to entertain. And sure I think he's peaked, just from watching what I have. Hockey players do not suddenly get better over the summer, it happens throughout the season, and I haven't seen that (too drastically). And I don't mean statistically. I think he will get stronger, defensively more responsible, etc., and his team will grow with him, so he can only improve statistically. But I think he is where he is, and his team can only get him so many more points. <--- That's not saying that his team does the work, just that they have offensive upside whereas Crosby is close to his maximum skill from what I've seen.
-
I'd like to re-sign him for a year, but a long term contract would send a very good message to Filppula. I would want him to know he's next.
-
The better team is the winner. Edmonton was better then us. Point per game ain't so bad.
-
The NHL is making an effort to provide the game he needs, his team is providing the atmosphere he needs, and he is giving the effort he needs. So why don't I think it's gonna happen? I can't get it out of my head that he has peaked offensively.

why not?

Wings say they are gritty enough for playoff grind
Earthhuman replied to HockeyCrazy3033's topic in General
"They're going to have a real rested Henrik Zetterberg. That would be the one team I really wouldn't be in a rush to play against." I like how he implied that a real rested Zetterberg is a big part of going far. It's nice to have that go-to guy. -
You should watch him play in some games, and possibly pick up some hockey sense. It's $30 a pack at MSG, not cheap but then you wont say things like this. ^^^^ Sorry, didn't realize you were from the Czech Republic, you probably don't get to see him on Broadway. Well trust me he has grown up and played with dignity now that he's on the most famous stage in the world. And I'll say it again: 14 points in 16 games on a line with a FREEZING cold Straka and a guy that can't find the back of the net, Shanahan.
-
N/A-Zetterberg-N/A Kovalchuk-Crosby-Jagr Maltby-Draper-McCarty (For marketability [and also the hell of it]) Prucha-M. Koivu-Avery 60 minutes of Lidstrom Lundqvist A left handed shot on left wing, and a right handed shot on right wing. I'm sure Ovechkin would perfer his natural position.
-
Yeah, Aflac does his thing, and then this comes next! You have to do it. Eventually it will be posted in the locker room, and you can do your own part to leading them on to victory.
-
He is not the same guy we saw at the beginning of the season. He /is/ an offensive force, if you look at his numbers since getting serious about his career by playing on a team that is going somewhere- 14 points in 16 games, with 29 PIMs in that time (keep in mind he fights, 10 minutes from majors). Not to mention he's agressive, but disiplined, an aggitator but doesn't pile up the PIMs (anymore), and he sticks up for his team. He's also a clutch player nowadays. He made the Rangers a much harder team to play against. He plays on a line with Shanahan who hits the post darn near every game, with darn near 0 goals. What more could you want for 1.1 million dollars?
