I've seen you suggest it at least a dozen times. What other ideas do you have up your sleeve? Our 2nd round pick is considerably less valuable, and the draft isn't terribly deep to begin with, based on the lukewarm hype. Oh, and Zednik isn't exactly the ideal gritty power forward, he's more of a quick, shifty, skilled, easily pushed around player. And in my opinion, not much of one. Or by Tuesday... ish. And again, he's not particularly gritty from what I've seen. Maybe a few decent hits. One of the best we could do, I suppose. But look what Atlanta and Nashville gave up for similar talent...

I was expecting a production a little more consistently, but it never occured to me that he has been working on defensive play first and offense second... He's confident but not cocky, that's what you want to see in an athlete.

Who knows how tonite would have gone if he played with a little fire... Perhaps putting him on a lower line will show him what a non-factor he's been.

The defense is good enough that Osgood should have a great game, plus I trust him. His last game was very good- 1 goal on 18 shots, and the goal was on the PP. He made some nice saves, too. I'm sure he relishes the opportunity.
