I do agree this is not "Hockeytown" its Red Wings town. Now I'm not a rich man so I dont know if this is true but I have heard that there is this Canadien Club for season ticket holders and that is where most of the lower bowl is at during the games. The home opener on TV looked full and it was loud so I dont know what game that guy was watching. I also think 24 straight playoff appearances makes the regular season stale to average fans but diehards like us are excited to watch this young team. They look damn good so far!

As Richdg said we do have 1 more buyout we can use this summer. Maybe its Weiss? Also a lot of the reason Howard is struggling is the defense is terrible. I think if the wings can get a couple solid d guys in the offseason then we may see a better Howie next season.

My money is on Radulov. I could see Datsyuk not wanting to deal with Radulov's crap.

Holland has done a great job with this team.... BUT the last 3 years he has made some horrible moves which we all know what they are. Also he did a interview on 105.1 with Matt Dery and he said in part "kids are not the answer, this is a men's league" I just think Holland is really naïve if he thinks Cleary, Sammy, Bert, Eaves are better then Jurco, Tats, Nyquist and Sheehan. Like many of you I had a healthy hatred towards Pronger but I never want someone's career end due to injuries especially a concussion. Hopefully he's getting better and can live a normal life.

I don't know why some fans are so scared about this team signing Cleary. The Wings would have to shed I believe 4 to 5 million dollars of salary just to afford what Cleary supposedly wants between the 2 to 3.5 million. I really don't see them being unable to unload that much salary. For the record I don't want Cleary anywhere near this team. Also could Sammy be placed on the LTIR?

I'm shocked by this as well but does anybody else think its way too convenient that kovy bolts and the devils aren't fighting it. The devils are financially strapped, kovy still had 12 yrs left on his contract. Its just a little weird to me they aren't fighting this.

As someone who listens to this station on a regular basis the new yorker and Foster are the only ones i dont listen too for the simple fact that in my opinion they know absolutly nothing about hockey. The new yorker even admits that. So why should i call or text hosts who know absolutly nothing about hockey. The people I trust on that station is Karsch and Anderson, and Caputo. Dan Leach and Riger are good too.
