Win 4 more games and their in, simple as that really.

Next 2 games could see us 3 points ahead of the Bruins with 3 games each left including the game v the Bruins which will be the winner takes all game. Bruins have the Blues and Hawks away as their next 2 we have Wild home and Leafs away both winnable games. I'd like us to get into the post season as I think that moves will be made to the roster no matter what in the off season.

No win tonight = no playoffs this year. I actually think the Wings will grind out a 2 goal win to keep everyone on the edge of their seats tomorrow's game at the Canadiens will be the season defying one thou.

Hey at least Kindl was a +3 last night v the Bolts, life is full of this stuff and the Flyers lost at the Yotes

I'd say the whole team is the problem , forwards keep coughing up the puck and putting us on the back foot, hard to get anything going with that scenario we have no D that can really control the play, and our NM duo are having a bad spell at the same time which isn't helpful to say the least. Some strong mirror looking is in order for half of this roster and the other half are punching above their weight which seems to have caught up with them

Oh it's over alright, we need to win at least 5 and it ain't happening with this roster.

Is there anything to say really ? There just doesn't seem to be any sort of leadership out on the ice, and that may be a major reason for the effort we just witnessed or the lack of it.

Didn't expect a win but I did expect us to be up for this game a little more than we are. This off season could be interesting , Kenny will have to book his tee times a bit earlier than usual

Biggest problem is it's only the junior players that get to sit if they make a howler. There are a few vets on this team that need sending a message from time to time. That's the big difference between the new coaches and Scotty, he didn't have a problem sitting star players.

Any point we get out of this game will be a bonus for us hopefully we can sneak 2 but this looks our hardest game left on paper

Vitali Abramov , the kid will be a star a little undersized at present but hey remember Dats when he first came here. Not sure where he is projected to go in the draft but if he doesn't go in the first ill be surprised.

look at the standings and they say they are, Ericsson may be a big part of the problem but he is part of our team. Our team is what is out on the ice not what we would like out there, hopefully we can somehow get a point out of this game.

Call up Frk, he's a beast on the PP in GR, Canon of a shot like Pulks only his are on target more often than not.

A good pick up by the Wings, very mobile and gritty young D man. I believe we'll see a big change up on the blue line during the off season. The kid Russo in GRs will be close if not on the roster next year. Kenny will make some moves for sure, and maybe one or two surprising ones at that.

Look at our results when Kronwall and Green were both out together, will tell you all you need to know. Out of the team, not out on the ice together

I think he'll get picked up this year, do think we should take a chance on Loik thou.

Wings need to draft Lazarev, he looks great with Svech and this could be a good fit for all. A blossoming new dynamic duo ? Who knows but the chemistry is already there for sure.

The teams below us are winning we have a 3 game cushion for the last wild card spot. It's getting too close for comfort now, need a big win Tuesday and then it's a 3 game homestand in 4 days that could define our season once and for all. A mini 4 game winning streak would do nicely.

The $m ? Is will Kenny try and keep both next year? Petr is due a raise soon but would he except a smaller 2 year deal on the promise of big bucks when Howard's contract expires, could we really carry over$9m of netminding contracts for 2 years thou? Many GMs would try and trade Howard in the off season for help were we need it, but we are talking Kenny and his over loyalty mindset. There are plenty of cheaper back up options this upcoming off season as well as the guys in GRs. My biggest worry is Kenny trying to lowball Mrazek to keep Howard and Petr then not signing and trying the UFA pool instead. Please for the love of God don't let this scenario unfold.

He's a +13 as well, so what point are you making? He was an overage pickup who had played over 3 seasons in the SHL so it's not as if he was a rookie per say. The guy was more NHL ready than Kenny thought, why do you think Nill wanted him in the deal? Anyway he's gone now so well never know what he could have brought to the Red wings.
