Cleary is an NHL vet with over 1000 games to his name and 400+ points. He should not even be in the minors, he should have retired gracefully and maybe gone down to Van Andel as a member of the coaching staff off the ice. No one is dissing him just the way that the whole saga was dealt with be Kenny and Cleary.

So Smith sits again whilst rookie Marchy looks better each game that passes. Does anyone see Smith being used in a package deal for a trade or is it just Blashill trying to make a point to him. If he misses another 3 to 4 games as a healthy then I think he's gone.

from what ive heard although the Griffins have gotten off to a bad start, Mantha has been playing well. I still hold out seeing a Mantha Larkin Svechnikov line in the not too distant future.

I don't get the Pulks hate on here. He's playing 3rd line is on course for a 40+ pts season and second on the team in +- ? I guess some on here are actually believing he is the new Golden Brett. At this moment in time he is doing what is asked of him and will progress with each game.

Not sure what's going wrong here, it's basically the same roster that finished last season and they've been awful result wise. They have on the whole been outshooting the opposition in the majority of their games but is it a new coaching system and change in the coaching personnel that is the issue. Too much talent on the roster to be rock bottom of the A but it is what it is I guess. Also they have only played 2 games in 2 weeks which hasn't helped and is rather bad on the AHL in their fixture organization, considering they played 4 games in 8 days back in October. Something needs looking at in that department.

Scouts aplenty at the recent Leafs Ducks game.Including 2 reps from the Redwings,are we still interested in Phaneuf or maybe Polak for some size and aggression on the 3rd pairing. Or are we looking at the Ducks D corp? Not sure who we'd want from them except the obvious Lindholm or Vatanen and they aint going anywhere. Or are we after a power forward, who knows but it could get interesting.

Kadeykin McKee Bodin would be a huge 4th line size wise but what would the + - be like after a few games ?

I suggested young Bert as a call up to the 4th line in another thread, just think him Luke and maybe Helm would be a good 4th line with some bang grit and speed.

In house Suggestion's; Jensen up for Green on the D, Bertuzzi and Tangradi up for 4th line waive Andersson and Ferraro. Jensen has shown the past 2 pre-seasons he's gotten better. Elite skating which we haven't got in abundance on the D would be a help and he's a right hand shot. Led GR in + - last year. For what Andersson and Ferraro bring to the table id sooner have a bit of snarl and nastiness on our 4th line that also can contribute to the score board. Liked lil Bert last year in GR's playoff run and he had a good pre-season. Tangradi is one of a very few bright lights currently in GR's. He looks like he wants that call from the Joe. We need a spark from somewhere but my main concern is the shot differential, not use to it as are many others on here.

Well I think we should get the PP sorted let alone the pk, it's been good dam awful. We now have two legit rh shooters from the point in green and pulks yet Blash didnt use a left and right combo on the pp versus the Oil. Lets get the pp units set and stick at it.
