NHL Network (radio) just blasted the Wings management. Some caller they were talking to brought up Babs for being in the running for the Jack Adams. The host immediately wrote it off, saying Wings management have done an absolute terrible job with getting in successors for Lids, Ralfs, Datsyuk and Zetterberg and that Howard is awful. States after next year when Dats and Hank are bordering retirement, the Wings are looking at a long playoff dry spell. Agree with him for the most part.

Rather have Niskanen

Apparently there was a bit of an "office meeting" with Legwand and Babcock this morning. He's been demoted to 3rd line and they're not happy with his defensive play.

I'm just praying to every god imaginable we make a run for Niskanen in the off season. Young, Offensive defenseman, something we desperately need, and a +32. Instant upgrade on our blue line. Realistically holland will probably throw a 5 year contract at a 37 year old Dan Boyle.

"Kids were outstanding, but we didn't get anything out of the veterans. Might be my fault for giving them an optional yesterday".

Babcock telling it as it is. Kids were awesome and the vets were a joke. "You can bet practice won't be optional tomorrow".

Holland isn't a coach. More than anything I PRAY Franzen gets bought out. That contract is just disgusting. When does it expire again? 2020?

If Holland had it his way Cleary, Samuelsson and Bertuzzi would all be playing on the 1st line. He is so disconnected from reality he just really doesn't have a clue whats going on anymore. I hope someone from the media has the balls to finally call him out. That Jarnkrok trade was simply brutal.
