Expanding right now would be idiotic. What they need to do and they wont because of the owners, is relocate teams. If your going to put a team anywhere put it in wisconson. Badger hockey is nuts and put a NHL team there you got yourself a sucessful hockey market.

Since Nieminen has been suspended for the SAME EXACT thing in the past he shoulda got a 2 game supsension or something. There needs to be MORE fighting. Throw away the instigating and guys with visors need to lose the bucket before the fight starts. Theres nothing worse than splitting your hand open on a visor and have to get 10 stiches (left a cool scar though )

My gf and I have been to 5 games this year and your right once you get to the rink its an expensive night. (Tickets were gifts, and mom is part of the corporate crowd) We've had to turn down free tickets for 2 games just because of the price you pay to have a DECENT time down there. (college students)

Alot of you guys must not go to college games. Which is good cuz you wouldnt like it. Fans chant "Siv siv siv" to the goalie and tell him its all his fault. When guys take penalties everyone waves and says see ya. Booing is all fun and games. If it bothers the players getting booed then they shouldnt play. You need a thick skin playing sports and being in the media. Look at cheli when he gets booed he laughs about..... I guess booing is mean and immoral tho....

In MY observation and MY opinion thats what he plays for. I bet him and lang came from the same mother.

Booing is comical. Isnt really a big deal, but i guess it depends on your sense of humor and personality.

He actually didnt leave for more money it was the fact that steve was captain and fedorov wanted to be in the spotlight. He left so he could be the center of attention. Hes like the middle child who the parents ignored. Now he just plays for money and the girls he doesnt care about winning a cup.

I've played hockey my whole life. I spent majority of my years playing AAA and Juniors and thats one of the main things coaches and goalies always got on players about, is deflecting shots in your own zone when the goalie has a clear lane. You dont do it. You dont wipe your ass with sand paper, you dont try to deflect shots in your zone. When in doubt lift your stick

All i have to say is on July 1st he becomes a UFA and when he signs it wont be in detroit.
