Great game all around. Mrazek wasn't busy but he made the big saves when we needed them. Smith was great, not one bad turnover all game. The new checking line really got the job done tonight too.

Why not put Jurco in for Andersson if you're planning on having AA and Tatar on that line? Smith and Mrazek being back in are the right calls, not sure what fascination Blash has with Andersson.

Well, that was bad. The way the lineup is now, without changes, is going out in a hurry.

Powerplay is a disaster, I remember when it was pretty good for a stretch there not too long ago. Some fella from GR was on those units yeah? How about Nik Kronwall on the top unit? Incredible. We just don't deserve to win playing the guys we play, or even just playing the way we play. We have the talent to roll four lines, instead Blash puts Andersson in gives him just over 3 minutes, never plays AA for whatever reason and due to the refereeing (on both sides) being a clusterf*** Glenny has 11 and half. Just a mess. At least Howard is giving us a chance to stay in it, he's been strong.

Believe me, there is no Smith love coming from me. I think he's a dope too. However, Ericsson is ******* awful. That s*** with Nesterov last night was embarrassing to watch. He turns the puck over a lot, but can't make a good stretch pass or skate the puck out of trouble like Smith can. I think we'd be better off with Smith over Ericsson, but make no mistake it is the lesser of two evils.

It'd be neat if Smith was in over Ericsson, but considering it's never going to happen I'm going to stop even suggesting it. As far as tonight? Joakim Andersson brought A LOT guys.

I love this whole "so and so can't play defense, so I'm gonna scratch them" Tatar and Nyquist can't win battles to save their lives. We have a coach that doesn't prioritize goal scoring. Game winner is an empty netter thanks to our genius head coach. How f***ed up that we lose BOTH "win and in" games and still get in, Kenny should be phoning the Bruins and saying thank you for sucking even harder than us. Glad Andersson got in, his 1:42 tonight were really useful!

This coach just does not get it. He's Mike's lineup decisions without Mike's brilliance. The PP was rocking with Mantha, so of course scratch him. Jurco not getting it done? Call up the most useless player in our org. and put him in for the most important game of the season. Jonathan Ericsson turns the puck over like he's got butter rubbed on his stick instead of wax? Leave him in and let Smitty rot in the press box while our transition game can't get out of our zone. I hope Larkin and AA lead us to victory tonight, the kids are the way and at some point we need to realize that.

The performances the last two nights are indicative of the season as a whole, no consistency from game to game. Absolutely none. And yet, we'll still be in a playoff spot at the end of the night.
