Granato leaving in the off-season is probably not a bad thing. Get a new guy, who preaches something different. Then obviously we need to upgrade our personnel on the back end.... but that'll never happen. Billy Jaffe one of the rare guys on Sportsnet who breaks things down in a rational sense. -

Sure, it has too. But it hasn't been for us, and we're not going to make it. To say when we miss that it's all Mrazek though, would be wrong. This team can't score, can't defend, special teams are a joke, and has a coach that can't make in game adjustments. We have a minus 12 goal differential as a team, those kind of teams don't deserve to get in. I'm not defending Mrazek today though, bad bad game. Just, we have a lot of bad, bad things on this team. -

This pretty much. It was a horrible game for Mrazek to be sure, but the only reason we're in the race is him. We don't do anything above average except take penalties and miss the net. When the #1 key for winning is your goalie standing on his head, well we're pretty much the Colorado Avalanche. -

Now we need to hope one of Boston, Philly or the Isles s*** the bed to keep us alive. If the night ends BOS 89, NYI 89, PHI 87 we're toast.
