Oliver-Ekman Larsson is amazing. What a hockey player, I wish we could get him to Detroit somehow.

A guy who isn't getting talked about enough is Jared Coreau. I think we definitely have our back up of the future, and he might not be that far off from the NHL. He was just named goaltender of the month for December, after going 9-2 with a 1.92GAA and a .938sv%. After a solid first year in GR last year going 16-8-1 with a 2.20GAA and a .927sv%, his next win will tie his record all of last year as he's sitting at 15-4-1. His numbers and consistency are improving, just turned 24 in November, and best of all he's 6'6. I don't think goal tending will be a problem in Detroit for a long time with Mrazek/Howard right now, and Mrazek/Coreau in the future.

Wasn't pretty, but two points is what we needed and what we got.

Also, this might be the worst game I've seen Ericsson play in 4 or 5 years. When Q is back he should be the one sitting... but won't be.

I'd like Nosek to replace Glendening as the 4th line center for good, guy can skate and seems to have a head for the game. Of course, no chance that happens because professional coaches seem to think Glendening is gods gift to the earth.

Being overrated by both of his NHL coaches. He's a 3rd line center at best, doesn't throw a body check despite his size and people are wondering why Nyquist and Tatar are struggling, put them with Richards consistently and see what happens.
