Honestly, the way Smith is playing, Ericsson should be the guy to come out when Q comes back. Healthy or not healthy he's a big oaf who's good for coughing it up. Couple that with how average DD has played this season, and you got a recipe for trouble. -

Had a great start, then decided to stop playing and just take penalties. The Atlantic division is up for grabs and we decide to have our worst stretch of the season. I know we'll make the playoffs, but simply not good enough to do a whole lot else. -

How long until the lines and both PP units are tossed in the blender? We generate absolutely nothing, and whatever we do generate hits off shin pads and goes into the corners. Frustrating to watch lately. -

Chemistry affects how he plays defense? Smith has had a nice run of games, he's not good enough to expect that to continue every night. The bigger problem is the forwards, time to change it up. So stagnant, every shot gets blocked, no creativity in the offensive zone. -

I'd mix the lines right now. Top 3 have good zone time, but don't generate a ton of chances. (Outside of Nyquist at the end) The blown leads are a bad trend, and it's hard to pin on the goalies. Team takes their foot off the gas as soon as the 3rd period begins every night. -

Once you realize E will have a few brain farts every game, he gets easier to handle. Compared to last season, he's been much better. Would still like to see him be more physical though. -

Yeah, I'm not sure I get the "every line needs a piano mover" when Tatar and Nyquist play together, as well as Richards and Pulkkinen. Abby hasn't been very good lately, he should drop down. -

Tying goal, Glendening (who sucks) lost his man, and Ericsson (also sucks) lost his man. OT, Z (doesn't suck) was bagged and lost Vatrano. s***ty result, really deserved two points. But if we keep playing like we did, EVENTUALLY the puck has to go in the net. -

Guys who played less than Glendening tonight: AA, Tatar, Nyquist, Sheahan, Pulkkinen. We need to stop taking penalties, so that guy gets off the ice. Mrazek was great again, so was Larkin. We gotta figure out how to generate more offense... -
He's been alright. I'd like to see him skate the puck more often, when he tries to make quick passes up the wall he usually gets himself in trouble. There's no doubting his talent though, with the puck and in the O-zone he can bring it. If he can get more consistent in his own zone during the year, I don't think anyone will be complaining. (He's played much better than Ericsson too.... for context)

Too bad we had to give Ottawa a point, but a win is a win. Blash needs to stop the Glendening love, the guy is killing us. He has a place, 4th line center, and get the bulk of his minutes on the PK. He CANNOT be playing almost 16 minutes a night, I love his story and his grit, but he's just not that good. That's really my only gripe, really liked the other lines tonight. Larkin continues to be my favorite player in a long, long time. -

Love the top 6 lines, confused about the bottom six. Don't mind Howard starting, he knows he needs to have a good night. We usually stink against the Sens, but lit them up last time, so who knows what to expect. LGW! -

Yeah, I'd put Z and D back together and have Larkin center his own line. It's a minor thing, but when we're struggling to score goals and Pulks gets hurt, why put Andersson in? Dude can't skate or shoot. At least Jurco would bring a bit of skill to the top 9 -

Team is hard to watch most nights so far this season. Goaltending has masked most of our problems, but yeesh the defense can't make a tape to tape pass out of the zone to save their lives. At least we have Larkin who is good for a few highlights every night to make the games sort of exciting. -

Probably the best game we played all season. Can't score because we won't go to the dirty areas, need to figure it out. Goaltending is the reason for our 8 wins so far, so I can't be too mad at Jimmy (even though the 1st goal was weaaak) Larkin was the best player on the ice, gonna buy his jersey soon. Love that guy.
