with trade deadline approaching - who's our tradeable assets?
Donohue75 replied to nyqvististhefuture's topic in General
White, Nyquist or Coliacovo are the only ones who may actually get something in return for I say Nyquist as maybe the kid can get in with another team filppula maybe as he will not be back next year I would hate to see us giving away picks as this is a deep draft this year and it is time to refill the cupboards. Would be nice to go into draft day with extra picks to work with, -
Going to need some popcorn for the fall out if he decides to sign elsewhere
-
Could be waiting for a team to make a deal to show they have room for him as well. or waiting until Trade Deadline day to actually give the TSN crew something to actually do...
-
I doubt he will waive it. Watch the NHL24/7 Philly-NYR. He is a divorced single father with i think 3 kids. I would be surprised if he actually waived it mid season.

Red Wings to be in an Eastern conference in latest NHL/NHLPA proposal

I work with Leaf, Sens and Montreal fans, plus the odd Bruins fan. I for one like this as it will add to the mocking i already do of those people lol -
Bert and CocaCola are probably the buy outs, as sad as it is to say, Berts playing days are done more so because of his back. Sammy and Quincey won't be bought out, to much loyality i feel there... And why oh why is Nyquist getting a raise? lol he can't crack the lineup now elite #1 defenseman? Not sure who will be avail, it will be who has to dump salary to make space
-
This Topic and the Isles make me LOL as much as the Leafs....
-
Gonna throw this out there....Holland probably tried to trade him for a pick, most teams probably looked at the wings roster and said, well you are going to waive him anyways I will just wait until then. Someone was going to need to go on waivers at some point. Holland wasn't dealing with strength here... Why give up a pick when chances are he, or someone else was going to be waived. As with a 7th round pick, its a crap shoot and same with Mursak. Teams that will take Mursak 1-Tampa 2-Ottawa 3-Calgary 4-No one and he goes to GR
-
Where did Jimmy go? Sproul - Will not go directly from the OHL To the NHL, which is probably best..... McCollum's days as a Wing are done, the team has no confidence in him Where did Abs go and Tootoo? I see no reason to dump them so far this year.... I for one agree with let the kids play, however they do need to adjust in the AHL prior to the NHL, this is one of the best things this Orginaztion does, they let players develop....Defenceman going from Jr to the NHL are RARE, and look at the Luke Scheen disaster in Toronto... he was never ready for the jump yet was pushed to it, I would love to see Perry on the wings, but at what expense would it take to get him
-
Agreed. Or atleast take the surgery and the rest of the year off. Time for the kids to step up.

1-If it was not Matt Cooke, there would not even be a discussion on this, except all we would say is tough blow for Ottawa 2-TSN broke it down pretty good, this was a hockey hit 3-The next game you watch, count how many times this exact play is done. Players are coached now to hit like this since its technically holding, but with the legs. 4-No I am not a fan of Cooke, just a fan of hockey -
Do we have room on the IR for him? We already have Carlo Colaiacovo to fill that for most of the time.
-
Whoa, lets not go that far, I doubt they would take the leafs
-
I don't see any trades with Phoenix until this ownership mess is cleared up. Quebec will want to have some players when the team relocates
-
If they both had family in Detroit, i am sure they would have signed with Wings...
-
He is still well respected here in Belleville so is his entire Family...
-
Thanks lol trying to work and do up lines is a lot of work
-
I am from Belleville, I have seen Subban, as well as his 2 brothers play in Belleville. On the ice he has had a bit of an "edge" but he gets under the skin of other teams. He is a great person off the ice and i am sure alot of this "attitude" thing is more of a media spin then reality. Cocky yes he sure is, but there have been other players that were cocky we welcomed to the wings ... ei Hull..... I would love to see PK on the wings. He is very competive
-
I think it is fine, nice to some some excitement....
-
I had thought about adding him... Lets go ahead and sign him, hopefully the Isles dont take these players when they have to go through waivers....But did the not pass over on Yzerman anways
-
THis Howe - Yzerman - Lindsay Delvecchio - Abel - Federov Maltby - Drapper - McCarty Shannahan - Datsyuk - Ullman Zetterberg Lidstrom - Chelios Fetisov - Coffey Larson - Pronovost Sawchuk Osgood
