I doubt he will waive it. Watch the NHL24/7 Philly-NYR. He is a divorced single father with i think 3 kids. I would be surprised if he actually waived it mid season.

Gonna throw this out there....Holland probably tried to trade him for a pick, most teams probably looked at the wings roster and said, well you are going to waive him anyways I will just wait until then. Someone was going to need to go on waivers at some point. Holland wasn't dealing with strength here... Why give up a pick when chances are he, or someone else was going to be waived. I am from Belleville, I have seen Subban, as well as his 2 brothers play in Belleville. On the ice he has had a bit of an "edge" but he gets under the skin of other teams. He is a great person off the ice and i am sure alot of this "attitude" thing is more of a media spin then reality. Cocky yes he sure is, but there have been other players that were cocky we welcomed to the wings ... ei Hull..... I would love to see PK on the wings. He is very competive
