So from what I gather, Howard is starting, Larkin is now on the 3rd line between Vanek and Nyquist (yes, 3rd line), Glendening is still on the 2nd line. Smith is back in. Good times, i'm getting a 6 pack when I get off work before I watch this one. LGW!

But it's the classic knee-jerk reaction, offseason desperation to replace a guy Wings style. Datsyuk was gone, other teams could actually afford to make Nielsen a decent offer and Holland stepped in and put up too much to make sure he came here. He's no Datsyuk though, and no miracle worker.

Nielsen is a quality player, not flashy, but doesn't make a lot of mistakes and plays an excellent two way game. He was thrown into this mess and it's barely been a quarter of a season. He's hardly the contract i'm concerned with the most when we have Howard, Ericsson, Helm, etc.

Respectfully, you've essentially made this post worded slightly differently about 30 times in the last few weeks. Point has been well received and exhausted by now.

I was gonna say, I could think of quicker methods for Holland to step down.. I know this is all frustrating, and all things considered, everything this season on these forums has been surprisingly civil. I'd like to keep it that way, maintain good discussion and less going for the throat. I speak for all the mod staff here when I say I appreciate you guys and gals and how everyone is upholding a dignified standard at this time of not-so-great hockey out of our squad.

Starting to get the idea of what rock bottom feels like. This is a game that should have been won. Defense must be addressed without a doubt. At this point, i'd rather keep Jimmy getting the blunt end of the deal, being left out to dry, and get his confidence rattled instead of ruining our potential future with Mrazek because this defensive core is so awful.

Surely we can pull off a win in this one. Let's do it boys, and welcome back Vanek! LGW!

Luke DeCock sounds like a quality source. I agree though, QC and Hamilton should have teams long before Las Vegas. There is an undeniable level of support in both cities and will be low risk compared to the Southern US.

Go get em next game Wings. Winning or losing, i'm here for life. Let's hope we get something figured out here and start to string some wins together sometime soon.

This isn't feeling like one that's gonna get tied up. It just has that tone that they are gonna settle on a loss.

This sport cannot take another lockout. Period. They must work this out and avoid a disastrous situation or it could potentially threaten the entire future of the NHL. It's already the least popular professional sport in the states.

There really is no set format, it's however you want to post it. Very generalized, I include the date, time, who they are playing (obviously), the starting lineups and starting goaltenders. You can add in additional stats like team leaders, overall record, etc. You have full creative freedom as long as it is appropriate and within the rules of the forum. I have done a few dozen over the years, you can contact me with any further help or questions, and i'm sure Hockeytown0001 here who has submitted a plethora over the years may offer up some help also.
