I think it's a fine decision. He is historically strong against the Rangers, Mrazek gave up a lot of goals in his first two games and then had a very strong outing. Throwing him right back out on the road and overloading him early I don't think is the best idea. Let him ride the confidence a bit and rest up for the weekend. That's just my opinion though.

It's looking like it, Zatkoff has been a train wreck for them so far. They didn't prepare for no Quick this early on apparently.

LA is pretty desperate for a goaltender also now that Quick is out for months and they are literally using Budaj, maybe if Jimmy has a good showing tonight... A man can dream.

I bet as soon as the Helm line cools off we see Nielsen centering Nyquist and Vanek. That wouldn't be a bad top 6 tbh, as long as Vanek keeps playing like he has. I'd like to see AA have his shot with that pair also.

He's also been humiliated and deemed the "Bobby Ryan" of the Wild and having a lot of critics saying he floats and doesn't care to play at a high level each game, only shows up when he wants to, etc. He's playing like a guy with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, after being bought out I think he's hungry to prove everyone wrong and legitimately think he was insulted and wants to throw it in Minnesota's face. Nothing says to a player "you're worthless to us" more than being bought out. He definitely isn't that.
