Been playing the EASHL beta this week, it's nothing special, if anything, it's been stripped yet again by entirely removing the card system. There is now nothing to work for, you just pick from one of 4 different player classes. It plays okay, it's a small step forward from 15 on the One, but it still needs a lot of work to stand up to the gameplay quality of previous titles. Slowly but surely, they are getting it together, but I still don't think this year is going to be all that great. Bring back right stick dangling and fix the skating EA.

Been watching since the beginning of the streak, still doesn't sting any less after elimination. Another season come and gone, let's hope for some changes and a fresh start next year. Let's keep the GDT civil in the coming days here regardless.

Our season does not end tonight, I think they will come out flying and get a commanding grip on the game early on. Lets go Wings, I have faith that we go to the 2nd round.

He was at the time one of the better right handed defenders available for cheap. He has a heavy shot from the point, he spent some time in a defensively responsible New Jersey organization and it seemed like a good fit. At the time I agreed with the move, and even though he has been weak in the playoffs, I don't really regret it even to this point. Tonight he made noticeable mistakes, and this round hasn't been a good performance from him, but we are 3-3, not out and there's time to bounce back. Sometimes the vet players work out, sometimes they don't. For what he contributed in the season up to this point in the playoffs, calling for his head is a bit hasty. Let's see how the series finishes out.

I'm gonna go ahead and lock this, I don't see the relevance for trade speculation talk with no substance or sources while playoffs are underway. There's plenty of time in the offseason to bring this up in the many trade rumor/speculation threads that may emerge.

That's EA server issues, it happens from time to time. The One is still experiencing stability issues, it happens to me at times, even if i'm playing a single player game, it will pause my game and notify me that I was disconnected even though I am still connected. Just one of those irritating things they need to iron out during the early stages of the console's life I hope.

We are still here, but we lurk behind closed doors and meddle in new ways to unfairly single out the ones we don't like and torture them as much as possible. It's followed by at least a 3 hour session in front of the mirror flexing our muscles and telling each other how tough we are. Then we laugh. Hard. Agreed entirely. At best, wait until NHL 15 hits EA Access and you can play it along with a bunch of other games for $5 a month. It's a great service. I'm currently playing through some of the free games lately, including that Fast & Furious Forza game, Child of Light, and Pool Nation FX. Also considering giving Neverwinter a go, which is also free.

The problem is that we moderated something. In Roboturner's perfect world, nothing on this site would get touched ever, anything that is said goes, and there are no repercussions for breaking the forums rules. We are going to moderate, because there are rules on this forum and it's our job to enforce them. If a GDT is going way off track after a loss and you lose a post because of the need for us to edit it, even though we at times have to remove dozens of other posts in the process that no one else seems to come here regularly and complain about, it's something you need to come to terms with. If this thread is to remain open solely for Roboturner to continue to revert back to in the event that we have to moderate something just to complain about, I don't see a constructive reason to leave it open at all. If you crave and explanation that badly, just let us know and we can submit formal warnings instead of simply removing the content, and in your warning you can have a detailed description of why it was moderated. So in response to "I see you guys are back to deleting my posts, meanwhile the "in" clique can post whatever the hell they want", my response is stop replying and contributing to off topic discussions that progress the derailing of threads and you won't have to worry about your posts being removed. We have full documentation of everything removed and it passes through Matt also, so instead of acting like the victim like we are pinpointing your individual post and removing it while leaving the rest up in the thread, state more factual information that isn't directed at bashing the moderation staff at every opportunity and state the truth that all the content is gone, including yours, that set that particular GDT off track.

Interesting discussion to bring up without making another Preds thread... So they were on an absolute tear, the Preds were killing it, sitting on top of the entire NHL looking down. At the deadline they add two Leafs in Santorelli and Franson, and now all of a sudden they have been just awful. Blown leads in the 3rd have come in bunches, and nothing they can seem to do right now is getting them victories. Maybe it's a bit of proof behind the logic "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" as they really didn't need to do anything at the deadline to improve, yet they did anyway? Did throwing in two additions like that harm themselves in the long run, throw in an unnecessary twist in their lineup and things aren't meshing like they had been? On paper, I liked the additions, but the before and after is speaking volumes against the move.

Yeah, I mean i'm only speaking for one guy that I know, I bet if I lived there I might feel differently. I did live about 10 miles outside of Philadelphia for 12 years, and I have a very firm opinion of those... fans. If you told me you had one friend that was a good guy and a Flyers fan i'd put you in your place about your opinion of the fans in general also.

Living in TN, I get to see a lot of Preds games here broadcasted locally, they are a strong squad, control games, and have the tools to go deep in the playoffs. I know it's tough for this being a Wings fan site to have a strong opinion of another team that you may or may not watch too often, but they built their team the right way and I think they can contend and go pretty deep. I also don't hate the trades they did make, I think the inevitable regular season losing skid came at the wrong time with the addition of their two new players, but long term, both will contribute in their own way. Santorelli was relatively strong on a weak Toronto squad, and Franson is a guy we would have liked to see here. I'll boldly predict conference finals. I also don't feel they are THE best team in the league, but I also don't rule them out of a potential conference final in the playoffs this season. They are better than some people here are giving them credit for. These games the Wings play against teams and seem to be lopsided, putting us on our heels, the Preds have done that against a lot of teams in a lot of games this year, good teams among lesser squads as well. They can dominate and control a game pretty firmly, and it happened without Rinne between the pipes also. With failing teams in the South like Phoenix, I like to see Nashville thriving, competing, and attracting fans. It's good for the sport.
