Moved this to the trade rumor section. It's an interesting option, i'm not sure either how inclined Detroit would be to deal with Toronto either. I think he would fit into our top 4, depending on who was moved out for him if it wasn't solely a pick. OEL is untouchable, I recall reading somewhere saying they refuse to trade him unless it's for Crosby. We would have to make a monster offer and give up way too many assets to bring him here. Yandle is a bit more realistic.

I'm watching the Preds and Leafs game tonight, seems like a better option over Chicago and Minnesota, two teams I really don't care to watch. Might not be the best option but with this long break until Thursday, I want to watch some kind of hockey tonight.

Sounds like a Game of Thrones character. Logic tells me to take a right handed defender with the first pick, but our current needs don't necessarily reflect what our needs will be 3-4 years from now when the drafted player is developed enough to make the roster. A lot can happen between now and then.

Granted the tiles take up a lot of the middle and you can't see too much of it, but around the border you can see the Wings banners and whatnot. It's cooler than having just a solid color as your backdrop.

I'm a relatively newer baseball fan, I started watching the Braves when I lived in Atlanta for 9 years. Although i'm not really entirely firm on a team, i'd lean towards being a Braves fan, but they made some horrible decisions this offseason, lost Justin Upton, traded Evan Gattis, Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy are gone. I think it's going to be a .500 season and that's being generous. They didn't seem to do anything to replace their top 2 HR hitters in Upton and Gattis, and I think they are going to have a weak season. Their rotation leaves a lot to be desired also.

I just discovered, on the Xbox One version of NHL 15, if you unlock the achievement titled "Home Ice Advantage" by winning 25+ home games in one season of be a GM mode (You can select a top team like the Kings and sim the entire season and have this unlock easily) the achievement art is a back row view of Joe Louis Arena ice, with the Wings championship banners, Scoreboard, the giant hanging purple octopi, and full view of the ice. What you can now do is make achievement art as your dashboard background, so you can select this pic and have Joe Louis Arena with Red Wings goodness as your backdrop. When you go to Apps and Achievements, click on NHL 15 and find this unlocked achievement and hit A on it. What follows is a menu to "Set as background" to make this picture your permanent dashboard art.

Wow, how the heck did I do that? After further investigation, Bernier and Bishop are files next to each other in my player pic folder, I must have accidentally clicked on Bernier instead and the blue on white played tricks on my eyes and I posted it without even realizing it. Good catch

It's primarily voice communication. I remember back in the Dreamcast days playing Phantasy Star Online with a keyboard in my lap and typing to players because there was no in-game voice support. I can understand the big change, being a bit intimidated to speak online with other people who you don't know, but you adapt and learn how fun it can be. You don't even really need to talk to play online, you can just have the experience and never plug a mic into your controller. As far as security concerns go, you are at higher risk every time you get on your computer opposed to connecting to a video game console online. They are very, very secure as long as you password lock your account and it isn't something blatantly obvious. There are a lot of misconceptions, especially during the recent holiday "attacks" which were nothing more than a bunch of nerds signing in a few million accounts all at once crashing the servers, no accounts were taken and no one lost profiles, it just interrupted the quality of the overall service. Back on topic, i'm playing Battlefield 4 and Titanfall a lot lately, both online on the One.

Do you mean offline multiplayer? Like splitscreen? If so that makes sense, otherwise there are less single player games than there are online multiplayer games on PS4 and Xbox One by a long shot.

I'd be happy to nab up Petry, unfortunately he has been stuck in Edmonton but I feel like he's a better defenseman than he's shown there. I think he would be a top 4 here, but he is absolutely a top 6 and an improvement over Kindl/Lashoff without hesitation.
