It was either PP or breakaway attempt, how this goes right now is going to determine how dumb or smart that penalty was by Lashoff.

There are higher expectations of Howard as the starting goalie, I think that's why Monster gets more slack around here. He's done his job as the back up, he hasn't been stellar but he isn't expected to be. You expect strong and consistent play out of your starting goaltender, and Howard being in that role and him being inconsistent and having such a rough first half contributes to a lot of the ongoing hate towards him. I'm not a goalie basher or Howard hater, it's just been my observation this season.

Glendening was the only one that noticed the puck fell behind Gus. Don't give up on the play until the whistle blows, we had 3 guys in front just standing there like the play was dead.

Yep, one point secures us a spot in the playoffs.

Legwand had the GWG in an enormous game last night, Legwand broke up what likely could have been a goal late in the 2nd period just now. Legwand got called for a "high stick" that they didn't show the replay on because it was likely extremely weak. Legwand leads this team in points right now. Let's settle down on the senseless Legwand bashing post after post, opinions have been made well known, repeating it in a different context over and over gets old.

This is a game we are very much in and can win, just need to play a solid 3rd like we have been here recently and get that point we need so badly.

Yeah not too bad so far, we are missing a colorful few posters that tend to show up in the 3rd when we are losing and bask in the misery, so we have that to look forward to if we can't turn this game around.
