Yeah, in the future let's avoid drastically overused memes from the internet that are beyond dead to rip into someone making a positive thread about this team. Thanks much. What the Wings have accomplished in the last 3 games for the roster they are putting on the ice is impressive. Keep it rolling boys, let's shock the NHL and make the playoffs.

I think Ferraro is here because of the circumstances, I don't see him ever cracking the lineup here personally. He'll get moved eventually or spend most of his career in the minors.

Instead of dating these and making a new thread 3-4 times a week about this, let's just turn this into the general Eastern playoff race thread going forward and keep it ongoing here. It prevents clutter and helps maintain an ongoing discussion instead of fragmenting it across the general discussion forum. I changed the thread title accordingly, I assume this will be a more active thread going forward as we close in on the final games of the season.

There is an obvious hesitation from the point he jabs him to the point where he suddenly is in "agonizing pain" and collapses like he was just shot. He could have been making sure the ref was looking or make sure it wasn't a teammate that accidentally bumped him before putting on that little show. If Malkin doesn't sell it like he did, that's likely a 2 minute penalty. It's a joke if Legwand gets a suspension for that. -

All that's missing is a pool of water and a diving board. Way to sell it Malkin, you know, because there's no padding there whatsoever and the end of Legwand's stick is sharpened. -
