It's less than two weeks away, get excited. I'm a fanatic of the series and i'm thrilled that Mass Effect 3 is almost here, with the inclusion of multiplayer i'm anticipating an epic conclusion in a deep narrative experience. For those who weren't aware, the demo is available now for download on the Xbox Marketplace and on PS Network. It's free so even if you don't think this is your type of game, try it anyway. The entire series is worth playing through because it's truly a game like nothing else out there and continues to impress. Mass Effect 2 was a masterpiece and deserved all of it's recognition for Game of the Year. Let the countdown begin, everything and anything Mass Effect post it up here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs7kix6_8Ks

Hudler would never have the same role here and ice time that he is receiving in Calgary. Over there he is a top 2 forward. Here he barely cracks the top 6. His success is based around their need for him in Calgary and having no other options. I do miss the freaky happy face and the humorous photoshop options.

Hypothetical: What Coach Would You Replace Babcock With?
MabusIncarnate replied to cnot19's topic in General
The title was misleading, the first thing I thought when reading it was "Babcock got fired?". I edited it to better reflect the topic of the thread. Anyway, i'd pull Scotty Bowman out of retirement and make him coach again. Best to ever do it. -
This one I can't help you with as I never subscribed to Hockey Digest. Maybe someone else around here has it or knows of it.

Here is what I was able to dig up and discover for you. First image is the same image you posted, but bigger and a bit more clear... The image below, I highlighted a few key areas. First red arrow pointed at the last name on the bottom right, it is pretty clearly written as "W. Crossman (stickboy)". I then noticed on the far left where the 2nd red arrow is, a signature that to me reads "Wally Crossman". This one was a bit more speculative, but comparing it to every other name on the photo, this is what the signature looked like to me. Which led me to guess, as people and players generally sign team photos like this, they sign next to or right near themselves. This leads me to believe the person directly above the autographed name to be Wally Crossman. I circled the individual I felt like was the one you were looking for. The final photo below, again, it is clearly stated "Walter Crossman" as one of the two people in the front. The top of the photo description states "Left to Right" so the only option remaining of the two men in the front is that Wally is the man on the left as his name is the first. The other person up front on the right appears to be a child to me, which in the photo above there clearly are no kids. I'd assume this is said mascot. As far as other photos, you may want to search later into team history, not just 1943. He was apparently part of the team for 61 years as the locker room assistant, so there may be team photos including him all the way up to the 90's and beyond. I hope this was of some assistance and help you out with what you were searching for.

Projecting Monster in net even with Howard coming off the IR, we'll know for sure closer to game time. Time to bounce back and forget about the Florida game, Wings dominate this one 6-1. GO WINGS!!

Trade deadline fast approaching - who should we target?
MabusIncarnate replied to nyqvististhefuture's topic in General
If Eklund posted it considering his history and accuracy rating, i'd say it's now more likely to never happen because Eklund posted it. Zero credibility, he's a speculator, not a reporter. I know you stated "the source is Eklund" i'm just further validating how ridiculous some of his posts are. Mark Stuart is intriguing, and I wouldn't mind Ott either as that rumor has been floating around a bit on numerous sites. I anticipate something incredibly minor as it's been previous seasons, like a depth defensemen of sorts that plays 10 games a season. -
Interesting offensive lineup to say the least, too bad Franzen is now out. Center is looking rough, not sure how I feel about Andersson on that top line. Ouch.

Yes most of that stuff has been patched. You can go into your hard drive, delete the update, and play the game offline if you want to max smithing, they reconnect online and let it patch. It won't eliminate any progress.

Detroit Lines Nyquist - Zetterberg - Abdelkader Jurco - Sheahan - Tatar Franzen - Helm - Alfredsson Miller - Glendening - Eaves Kronwall - Ericsson Quincey - DeKeyser Lashoff - Smith Gustavsson Panthers Lines Fleischmann - Bjugstad - Upshall Bergenheim - Gomez - Boyes Huberdeau - Goc - Winchester Matthias - Shore - Barch Campbell - Gilbert Gudbranson - Jovanovski Kulikov - Weaver Thomas I didn't prepare anything for today as it's been a busy weekend, but it's two hours until game time and nothing is up yet. Keep the winning streak alive, keep the scoring potent. Florida is a team that we absolutely can and should beat, show up and win this one boys. LETS GO WINGS!! Edit: I posted up a concept of what I have been working on, it's an imcomplete GDT graphic but it's a preview of the finished project, added the lines below (Thanks to HockeytownRules19 for posting current lines) so there was some kind of respectable looking GDT for this game.

I highly recommend the Burial at Sea downloadable content, it's an excellent addition to the story. Only part one of two has been released so far but it's well worth the price. If you like this Bioshock Derblaue i'd strongly suggest playing the first two especially for the story line, and it makes the ending of Infinite make more sense if you know the back story. They can be had for very cheap, they are obviously slightly dated in comparison but still worth playing. The Bioshock Trilogy is easily my favorite series of this generation, there's nothing else like it.

Cleary wearing the A in games this season speaks volumes how they feel about him as a player and locker room presence. He's gonna stick around at least for the remainder of this year, it's a reality that needs to be accepted. We as fans may not agree but the coaches and managers that run the team have their reasoning.

I think its in reference more to our win/loss record in the shootout this season, there is a tremendous amount of losses compared to wins.

Babs told the kids there would be a pizza party at Chuck E Cheeses after the game if they lit it up tonight.
-
Halfway there, just hold on boys.
-
Okay some intermission entertainment, been doing this on the side while watching the game.
-
I was bored.. thought this would be a cool idea.
-
Well this is just flat out awesome.
-
At least we got Alf and Franzen back.. i'd imagine one would get bumped to the top 6 now.

Edited and updated with a segment of match up graphics and starting lines.

I have never personally bought any autographed Wings pucks, but I have a few that I got signed in person while having the rare pleasure of meeting some of the players. Brendan Shanahan - 1997 Cup Champion Puck Steve Yzerman - Official Game Puck Chris Osgood - Official Game Puck Pavel Datsyuk - Graphic Red Wings Puck Slava Kozlov - Atlanta Thrashers Practice Puck I felt like Kozlov was honorable mention as a former Wing, I used to live in Atlanta and went to Thrashers practice a lot. There was literally 5-7 fans there at most so there was always an opportunity to meet, talk to, and get autographs from players. This particular day he flipped me a practice puck and I got him to sign it afterwards. Luckily for me, I also received another one and got Kovalchuk to sign one side and Hossa to sign the other. It was a great experience with a few former Wings and a superstar. Datsyuk and Osgood came from an opportunity to get back next to the locker room after a home game, my best friends grandmother was on a health decline and her daughter (My friends mother) had contacted the JLA executives saying it was one of her final wishes to be able to meet Chris Osgood. He agreed, met with us, signed a bunch of stuff, took some pictures and spent a solid 30 minutes hanging out. Datsyuk just kind of showed up with a big smile on his face, gave her a big hug and signed a bunch of stuff for us also, it was incredible. She has since passed away and was buried with her autographed Osgood jersey.
