In a dynasty keeper league I am involved with, I currently own Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Franzen, Kronwall, and Abdelkader (The league is head to head categories and counts hits, he gets a ton). It's a 14 team league with 4C 4RW 4LW 6D and 2G slots with an 8 man bench. I won the championship last season and sit in 3rd place this season. In a new redraft league I had drafted only Zetterberg, and this past week traded Malkin for Datsyuk and Backes. Again, this is a league that counts hits and PIMs so it makes players like Backes more valuable. What I tend to consider when drafting with guys I know is their personal player favoritism. Players from their favorite team tend to get taken a bit earlier and better players sit there. I resisted taking Datsyuk in the 2nd round out of personal favoritism and felt like I got better value with the trade to a Pens fan with those two players combined compared to Malkin alone. In this league I currently sit at 7-1 in first place, it's a league of 10 players, same positional slots listed above but has 15 bench slots. Point being, especially if it is a money league, let your opponents make the favoritism picks and you take the smart picks and resist drafting Wings when you first see them in the draft order. Zetterberg is elite in fantasy and is a solid 2nd round pick regardless of your Wings fan favoritism or not. So is Datsyuk in that regard. Otherwise don't overvalue Wings because you are a fan, understand that Franzen can waste a roster spot for a couple weeks while he slumps and questionable call-ups like Nyquist was can sit there giving you no points while they remain in the minors. Also Points aren't everything, especially in a category league. I have no problem drafting Chris Neil every year for his PIM and Hit totals alone because he can single handedly win a category for you even thought he.s 1% owned and was your last pick in the draft.

In effort to bring this back on topic and keep personal feelings aside, this opens up way too many problems to be introduced into the sport. Suddenly fighting is assault, the question of "intent" is blown way out of proportion and players like Chris Neil and Derek Dorsett are afraid to play the game they are paid to play due to the potential of being arrested or prosecuted for it. There are entirely too many gray areas when you are considering it's a physical sport where hitting and fighting are currently legal. I'll side with the general majority here and say in absolute extreme circumstances, like those mentioned above, Yes. Otherwise there is no need to change it, bring the law into it further, and jeopardize the physical aspect of the sport any further. It already grinds my gears that they want to remove fighting from the sport entirely, this would be a fast step in allowing that to happen.

I'm thankful for Helm's return and that his back problems didn't damage his career permanently. I'm thankful that we aren't all Panthers or Flames fans or have to deal with that level of team management. I'm thankful to Hockeytown and FlashyG providing such awesome GDT's consistently and that Abdelkader makes such a good woman for the sake of humor. I'm thankful for beer and pizza.

I'm likely not getting an Xbox One until next year, summer at the earliest. I am on my 5th Xbox 360 console due to failure rates including RROD and open tray disc errors. I'm not going to buy a next gen console until they have been around for a while, they recognize the issues with them and begin to manufacture a newer wave of more reliable systems. I don't buy into the whole "this console is more powerful" gimmick because when they develop a game they develop it the same exact way for both consoles, they don't write the code completely different per system, they do one for PC and one for consoles. That's why when 360 and PS3 came out, everyone was saying the "Specs" for the PS3 were so much higher but in reality side by side games developed for both consoles look and play identical. No games will look better or play differently on PS4 compared to Xbox One, it's more about the exclusives. It is very early to determine right now, expecially considering the life of both consoles will exceed 7 years and who knows what's coming out down the line. For me though, as it sits now, i'm sold on the new Xbox console, because my gamertag and gamerscore will carry over and i've already invested so much work and time into the 360 this generation.

Nevermind the OP pointed out that the 3rd pic was a Zetterberg jersey, I didn't read thoroughly. I wouldn't trust this for that reason alone, why take a pic of a different jersey for the most zoomed in view?

Guys I run an xbox 360 GM Connected league and we are looking for a few more people to sign up for the waiting list. I did recently get Diablo 3, I can see it being more appealing with a full group of players. I like it fine single player but it's very difficult. I'm also still playing GTA5 on the side attempting to finish out the massive campaign mode. I'd like to reach 100% completion but theres a ton to do, more so than Red Dead 100%. I'm also eagerly awaiting Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea downloadable campaign to release in about 10 days.

I'm legitimately thrilled to see Helm return, not because of what he'll do for the team but because I was really concerned about the condition of his back. I was hoping it wouldn't end his career, and seeing him return makes me really happy for him.
