Is it just me or is it that much sweeter as the 7th seed upsetting the 2nd seed team? For once the spotlight wasn't on us and we triumphed anyway, so damn proud of what we overcame in this series and still brought it home. GO WINGS!!

Yes exactly, don't mistake what I said he should make as what I think he will make. When it comes to realistic terms DeGraa hit the nail on the head for about how much he's gonna pull in, 4.5 is what he will most likely earn whether we agree or not.

It's impossible for me to watch that Yzerman game 7 double OT winner and not get goosebumps. I'm ready, drop the puck.

My personal opinion considering this season and playoffs, $3.2-$3.8 is what he should be making and I think that's slightly generous. Gotta show me more than one season like he had last year before i'm convinced. 17 Points in the regular season, 2 points in the 6 game series so far? Not that impressed this year.

Alex Edler would top my list assuming the ginger twins are untouchable. Ballard isn't half bad.. considering how much he sacrifices his body to block shots and plays a physical game. Really would like to see a full season out of our rooks first though before bringing in a ton of D.

I personally don't think a rule to protect children is going to have any adverse effect on a league for adults that get paid millions to play. There's a pretty drastic difference. I don't have kids yet, so my opinion is irrelevant to what i'm about to put forward, but as a parent teaching my kid how to play a sport i'd like to focus on skill and sportsmanship over telling him as an 11 year old that it's okay to hit that other kid on the opposing team. Sure I agree completely that hitting is part of the sport, but at that age of human and character development i'm not opposed to non-hitting hockey leagues for the sake of values and learning at that age.
