You seem to be on about the same pace as I am, although i've taken a break for Mass Effect 3. I believe I have 870 achievement score out of 1000 for Skyrim and i'm a level 58, I did find all the shouts but everything else you mentioned I am still trying to unlock as well. I also need to find all the Daedra artifacts for that achievement, i've only found about 8 or 9. Once I invest about another 5-6 hours into ME3 I should be at 1000/1000 and go back to Skyrim to finish those off. Much like you said also, I refused to use any exploits in this game such as level boosting with speech challenges and blacksmithing. It takes from the pace of the game if you boost it up, and it's usually my approach for any game i'm playing. It really is more of a project than a game if I can be honest. I've invested over 200 hours into it and still have some stuff to do before i'm done. The problem is for people who are strapped for time and limited to 1 hour gaming sessions that it makes games like Skyrim and Oblivion hard to get into. They are time consumers and unfortunately if you don't invest time into it you really won't enjoy it as a casual pick up and play game. You really can't play the game for an hour or two and determine if you like it or not, you really got to dive in deep to see it's full potential and appreciate how massive it is. I think the game is excellent, and incredibly vast and deep, and will most likely be nominated for Game of the Year. So to answer your question, if you are looking for something to play over the summer that you will get a lot of value out of and can run a gaming marathon with, then definitely pick up Skyrim because it will take you half the summer to get through. If you are looking for something now while you are still on a busy schedule, you may want to look elsewhere.

Yes, i've played through all three of them and all of the DLC that was offered, i'm tempted to go back and play the original because I haven't played it since it's original release and my memories of it are a tad fuzzy. Even though it conflicts with the first game, I welcomed the addition of limited ammunition opposed to infinite, I like being under the pressure when I run out of ammo that I have to switch to a sidearm. I do very much agree that the last two did feel more linear, in story and exploration. I do need to note that The Shadow Broker DLC for ME2 is probably the best DLC I have bought besides Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den, it was excellent and rounded off the game for me, and actually carried over into ME3. I'm also not much of a fan of how EA likes to squeeze money out of their games, when you play online the more you play the more credits you earn. You eventually spend these credits on equipment packs that unlocks random weapons or characters, the better the case the better value of equipment. So how it's set up, you can play through about 5 or 6 Bronze levels in about two hours and have enough credits to purchase a 60,000 credit specter pack OR you can spend 240 MS points or about $3.00 to buy a pack. Being it's random, unlocking characters and guns can become very aggrivating. Needless to say tons of people are buying into this, a friend I play with dropped $40 into packs trying to unlock one character to no avail. It's money grubbing as EA does best, the unlock system as a whole feels like they built it to annoy you and make you want to spend real money on packs. Definitely post up your thoughts once you finish ME3, i've been playing it since it's been released and still really into it. Me and a friend of mine can tackle Silver pretty easily now, but still haven't completed a mission on gold, although we did get to wave 10 a few times. I'm still waiting for a Dragon Age game to be good, I preferred DA2 over the first one but still really didn't enjoy either all too much.

At this point i'm about to finish my 2nd playthrough on insanity difficulty with my level 60 Vanguard that i've imported since the first ME, and I still love this game and play online with it a few days a week. If you can dig up a 2 day free gold pass Jedi, it's well worth trying online because it's a feature that really sets itself aside from the previous two ME games. I might go as far as saying its one of the best online co-op experiences i've ever played. It's very cool to play as the various races opposed to just Sheppard in the single player campaign also. As it stands now, in order of favoritism, for me it's ME3, ME2, ME. I really do miss being able to drive around in the rover and explore planets opposed to scanning and probing them, and i'm not entirely sure why they scrapped that after the original Mass Effect.

+1 to OP for posting up a positive thread after a hard loss. Honestly, I voted no, but i'm not ruling it out as a possibility. Anything can happen in a 7 game series and I seem to remember us being down 3-1 before and still fighting. Obviously the odds are against us but i'll maintain my faith in this team until the game that sees them eliminated or victorious.

Watching professional ping pong is mesmerizing.. remember how fast Forrest Gump was smacking that ball around?

From a team perspective I get that completely, and agree with you on some levels. As a fan though, that's just how i've seen this series go, and i'd much rather maintain a positive outlook opposed to having hockey be another thing in life that pisses me off. With that said, this team is screaming for a player like Parise to sign on during the offseason. There's no excuse not to add a scoring winger this summer.

I agree it should be an NHL rule that if you are a goalie taller than 6 feet you must have the difference removed from your leg bones to come within regulation height.

We are down 3-1.. series isn't over yet. Maybe i'm too much of an optimistic sports fan but we aren't technically "done". I don't think the Canucks and Penguins are washed up teams on the decline and they are in worse situations then we are right now. Fact is... it's the playoffs. One bounce off of Stuart's shin pad never happens and we could be in a 2-2 series right now. Every little bounce counts, and if you take into consideration how a lot of goals were scored throughout this series, it's hard to blame the team as a whole opposed to just bad luck and the puck bouncing the wrong way. Yeah we are down, I get that, but I don't think it's as catastrophic of a situation as a lot of people think it is.

The game has been patched to the point where most if not all issues, bugs, etc have been fixed. A recent update has also enabled the Kinect to be used while playing Skyrim which was previously not an available feature. Now we sit back and wait for the first release of downloadable content, i'm looking forward to it.

Let me clarify, if this reply was aimed toward what I said above. I wasn't saying "get off our forums" or anything like that, but the fact is right now, we are down in the series 2-1 and the last thing on a lot of our minds is to welcome opposing team's fans with open arms considering the current standing of the matchup. It's tense, it's heated, and if Preds fans want to come here in this situation right now that's fine but understand that there's fans here that have been watching the Wings longer than the Preds have existed and expecting a friendly environment is unrealistic. It's not hatred, it's passion for our team. No disrespect intended to any outside non-Wing fans, but I won't be visiting other team's fan sites especially during the playoffs.
