Nashville has a rich history in the NHL, they are damn near one of the original six because of how well respected they are. All the families raise their kids to go out after school, the one day a year that there's patches of ice on top of their swimming hole, and teach them the sport of hockey where they play for a few solid minutes before a kid falls through and has to be pulled out by a wild boar. Tennessee after all is THE primary state everyone thinks of when you just say the word "Hockey". This is an amazing poll because the differences between hockey in Nashville and Detroit are mirror images of eachother, and should be respected and treated as just that, equals. I'm not even opening the link to look at the poll because of how idiotic this is, and please note if it wasn't completely obvious that my post above was intended to be sarcastic. I have enough "class" and "respect" to stay on the forums of my own team. I personally have no interest in what Preds fans have to say during a playoff matchup when we are playing against them, and the best way to avoid conflict is to stay where you belong, on a Preds fan site not on a Wings fan site.

Dump Her! Just kidding. I live with my girl, so watching Wings games together is a frequent occasion. I voted 50/50 just because, let's be honest, how you watch a game with anyone wearing whatever is considered "lucky" isn't going to have any impact or determination on any hockey game. It's fun for fans to have certain superstitions and whatnot but realistically your team is going to win or lose depending on how they play. I think i'd chalk it up to coincidence and just enjoy watching without concern.

I've been basking in the glory of the Pen's collapse, this series has been unreal. Unless the Pens pull off a miracle, it's na na na na hey hey hey goodbye. Much deserved for the Flyers and Pens imo.

Double skipping is when you take an extra hop before the rope passes again.. if that's even the proper term. I've been watching most of the Flyers/Pens series and Nucks/Kings. I try to squeeze in as much playoff hockey as possible this time of year. The person below me has started watching a new TV series recently.

I haven't been to a party in years, so nope. Jump rope is surprisingly efficient for building stamina, that's exactly why boxers make it part of their daily routine. Try jumping rope without double skipping for a minute or two, the results if you keep consistent with it are excellent. As far as that kind of stamina, back in my Army days I was in great shape, these days I could probably stand to exercise more. The person below me is feeling burned out.
