More so when I was younger when the film came out. The person below me prefers vanilla over chocolate.

The cake is a lie.

Amazingly.. no. But I did hit a wall trying to figure out how to stream from my PC to my Xbox for about an hour last week. The person below me likes the television show Dexter.
-
Most likely not, I try to get to Michigan for a Wings game or two per season but never been to a Tigers game. I'll be attending a handful of Braves games though. The person below me enjoys board games.

I think we are very fortunate to have one of the best goalie duos in the NHL right now, unfortunately so does St. Louis. Halak has been flat out dominant in the last few weeks, and it's intimidating. I wouldn't go as far to say we are pretty much out of it if we don't win the division because we continue to be among the elite teams in hockey and can stand up against anyone. I don't really understand why at this point, sitting at the top of the standings for weeks, Howard being a potential Vezina candidate and breaking an NHL record for consecutive home wins, there would be any doubt that we can get through any opponent in the playoffs and win the cup this year. What else do they need to prove?

Let's see a repeat of our effort against Minnesota, 6-0 Wings. Go Red Wings!

Hockey parent uses laser pointer to "blind" opposing goalie
MabusIncarnate replied to Gizmo's topic in General
This is pretty much how I feel about it, before the video was posted above I hadn't recalled an incident like this before in the NHL. I figured the first offender would have been in Philadelphia, but Vancouver doesn't surprise me much either. -
They don't like me that much The person below me has a fish tank.

No way, they are death traps. The person below me uses an old cell phone.

Backstrom out for this game, looks like Harding gets the nod. Prediction: Harding slips on octopus during pre-game skate and sprains ankle, Hackett gets the start. Hackett does the splits against a Zetterberg breakaway and pulls a groin muscle. Out of options the Wild suit up Clutterbuck who goes on the break the single game hit record for a goalie but forgets to stay in his crease. Red Wings win 22-0

Post Lockout; IF Winnipeg and Forida make the playoffs
MabusIncarnate replied to T.Low's topic in General
Why is it "a big IF" in reference to the Panthers? Aren't they 3rd in the East right now? And yes, the Thrashers got swept out of the first round by the Rangers, I only remember because one of the two Thrashers home games was the first playoff game I ever attended. -
I get two colors, pasty white and pink. I don't think i'm capable of tanning The person below me would skydive.

The winners of the President's trophy don't get to meet the president, the Stanley Cup Champs do. I rest my case. We can donate a banner to Nashville so their new "Stanley Cup Champs" banner can at least have some point of reference.

CHL, Other Junior Leagues Look to Ban Fighting
MabusIncarnate replied to Bring Back The Bruise Bros's topic in General
This is a constant annoyance at this point, and I hate the direction that leagues are going with this. Hockey is all for the fans, right? Tell me the last time you saw a fight break out during a hockey game and the fans didn't explode in cheers like a goal was just scored. It's exciting, fans love it, I love it, it's always been part of the game and needs to stay part of the game. If the NHL does this, and I can see it happening at some point, Mr. Howe will shake his head in disgust as will most of the other retired players and long time fans of the sport. -
Pat Kane just seems like an all around D-bag. Maybe he just needs to grow up a bit, but he's on my most hated list. I also dislike the Sedins because of their constant threat of dominating a game. I still hate Avery even though he isn't playing, and i'll always hate him for too many reasons to list.

I love Game of Thrones, and the new season should be starting up here soon. On HBO I also like Eastbound & Down which is a sports comedy. I can also recommend Dexter if you have Showtime, and I also watch and enjoy Weeds and Homeland. This would be my current top 5 television shows, and I obviously recommend each listed. 1. Dexter 2. The Walking Dead 3. Breaking Bad 4. Spartacus 5. Shameless

5 Days and counting, i'll be at the midnight release for sure. I enjoyed the demo immensely, and as I probably won't play survival as rabidly as i'll play the storyline, it's still going to be a welcome addition and a nice break every now and again. I haven't read a ton of details about ME3, much like Skyrim, I like to be surprised about what's coming and tend not to read about a game too much before it's released. Only thing I wish they would bring back is being able to drive around the Rover on unexplored planets, even though I really liked the expansiveness of the 2nd game and the deep on-foot exploration.

Right on, i'll give em a look. I'm always down for a good RTS and i'm sure I can pick these up at Frys for a decent price. I believe that Dawn of War 2 is on Xbox but I much prefer RTS games on a PC so i'll look for that first, thanks for the recommendations.

O'Ree was the first black player in the NHL, but the main purpose of the article here was to reveal that he was blind in one eye for his entire career and no one ever knew about it. He feared he wouldn't be allowed to play pro with one eye so kept it a secret. It was a pretty interesting read.

I've never even used twitter. The person below me likes New York pizza over Chicago pizza.

A big thanks for the OP here and his efforts, this probably took a lot of time and it was a really good read that brought back some fuzzy memories of a lot of players I haven't thought about in a long time. I think the most painful on that list is that we could have landed Sharp if they did indeed take him with that pick. Hes one of my current favotite non-Wings in the NHL. The Trade Deadline isn't what it used to be before the salary cap was put into effect, and i'm getting to the point where i'm not sure i'll be excited for next year's deadline. The past three years have been dull and I think it's a trend that will continue unfortunately.

2/28 GDT : Red Wings 5 at Blue Jackets 2

Great road win for us tonight, i'm developing a small man crush on Joey Mac. He's been excellent and continues to impress. -
Got offered Skinner, Jagr, Ryder for Huberdeau, Hodgson, Grabner in my 3rd year dynasty league, entire roster carries over into next season. I'm in 2nd place heading into the playoffs next week, the guy offering is in last place looking for prospects. Should I take it, ditch the prospects and get a scoring boost from Jagr and Ryder, or should I hang onto my prospects and be more smart about my team's future? I'm torn and the league trade deadline is in two days, help.
