I can't wait til Tuesday when trade rumor insanity ends. Good signing by LA, i'm more confident in the chemistry over the foul play by the pair. I'd imagine Carter got all the drinking he needed out of his system playing for the Jackets for most of the season.

I'm very confident at this point that LA makes the playoffs, and considering that I put Quick in my top 3 Vezina nominees, he's a game-changing goaltender that can be trouble for any team. I do think our squad this season can get past San Jose or Vancouver in the playoffs, I just prefer not to play either if it can be avoided.

Getting rid of the Sharks or the Hawks in the first round? Lets hope the standings maintain something similar come playoff time because there's a few scenarios I like here. Phoenix upsetting the nucks would just cap it off.

Man don't get me excited.. oh if we got Ott i'd crap a golden harp and play it in approval. Zett has 188 shots and Franzen has 170, I think that's plenty for their expectations. Stamkos, Ovechkin, Parise only have about 20-30 more shots comparatively. A setup guy for Zett wouldn't hurt to get more of those pucks in the net though.

SAMMY! I doubt it.. he's part of Florida's new direction and success this season, I don't see them messing with that too much, especially for how insanely active that team was in the offseason. The new guys are working and the Panthers are winning, I wouldn't break that up.

i'd imagine the asking price would be high, and losing Johnson and to deal out Brown i'd assume they would seek a scoring defensemen in return at the very least. Would it be out of the question for them to try to get Visnovsky back in a deal? They shouldn't have dealt him in the first place imo.

I'm in support of keeping Cleary in the lineup into the playoffs, i'd be a lot more comfortable with him in the lineup over a rookie. The system works just fine with him in it unless there's complaints about being the top team in the NHL.

I've heard this rumor recently as well. I wouldn't mind Moen, he wouldn't be my first option though. Things are definitely going to start heating up this week as we close in on the deadline, looking forward to a busy week of deals and rumors.

I'd take Clutterbuck in a second, he broke the record for hits in a single season and I don't think many people realized he did. But he's not all skate and slam, he can put up some goals and contributes offensively unlike someone like Konopka. Minnesota probably isn't looking to move him so it's a completely unrealistic scenario but i'd welcome the guy with open arms if it were to happen at some point.

Entirely too much money? Thats a big no thank you on my end for Souray, i'd rather observe at a distance like a lion in the wilderness. I'd take Visnovsky, not entirely sure how realistic it is that he gets dealt within the week though. I really agree with what was said above by Echolalia, we can do all the predicting we want and the result will be a player out of left field that no one expects or was never mentioned in trade rumors.
