For those of us that are pretty much finished with Skyrim and waiting for expansions, I found a worthy replacement that will take up a lot more of your time. Its a game called Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and the best way to describe it is if Skyrim had Fable's baby. It plays and looks like Fable, in 3rd person view with a bright and colorful fantasy enviornment with excellent combat controls, but it also has the incredible depth of Skyrim. It is also a mass looting game, if you aren't familiar, that's the style of game that Diablo is, millions of random pieces of gear throughout the game, so you are constantly upgrading and changing. In Skyrim and Fable, there's a set amount of weapons, probably a few dozen, but this far surpasses that which I love in an RPG. There's already talk on gaming sites that Kingdoms of Amalur may be in discussion for game of the year, it's expansive and fun, and you can easily sink 80+ hours into the game. I purchased it and i'm very addicted at this point, even though it fell under the radar and hasn't been advertised well, it's an excellent title worthy of your time and is the perfect cure for your Skyrim hangover. There's a downloadable demo available, so give it a look. I recommend it highly to any RPG fan.

Video was blocked by the KHL, it says because of copyright but it's probably out of embarassment. I've seen videos from the past though, and it's just stupid what goes on over there and how little is done to prevent it. At least in the NHL if a scrapper picks a fight with a small skill guy they will normally get between them and break it up. Where's the refs in the KHL?

It doesn't bother me either way if I can be honest, i'm just thrilled with our goalie situation as a whole. I look at Philly and breathe easy knowing that we have two very talented goaltenders that can win us games going into the playoffs. Start either guy, it looks like we can't lose at this point. Just for good measure... MAC-ATTACK!

There are no hockey fans in Atlanta besides me, so the streak hasn't even made the sports section of the local paper. Half of the people that live around here still think the Thrashers play in Atlanta, so as far as an opinion from an outside city, no one here really seems to know or care.

I still have and wear a 1993 Wings shirt with the schedule on the back, it's so faded that you can barely read it anymore and easily has a dozen holes. The person below me posts regularly on a forum besides this one.

Any lingering questions about the validity of the actual number of games can now be extinguished, right or wrong we still met the numbers. Now it's time for the other fans to do the classy thing and give credit where credit is due. Next goal... most consecutive playoff home games won?

I'm stuck watching the Nashville home feed on FS South... at least the Thrashers commentators were tolerable. I hate this duo.

It has that "We are gonna win" feel to it so far, Joey is sharp and our boys are playing hard.
