Eric Staal, Dany Heatley, Rich Nash, Jeff Carter, Brad Richards are all big name stars that are underachieving pretty severely this season. Guys get into ruts.. it's going to happen. Look at Kessel last season compared to this one, same with Spezza. I think when it comes down to Semin though, there's more of an underlying issue with him, he really isn't putting a whole ton of effort into it and it shows. I'm just not convinced he's a 6 mil plus per season guy.

I like this a bit better.. I don't want to get involved with Semin, next thing we know we are stuck with a big contract on an inconsistent guy that stops caring when he gets paid. I definitely don't want to pay out that much for Semin either, there's much better options out there.

Awesome, the end of the game was pretty epic wasn't it? The shouts you aquire are very cool also, and I like that they leave it open ended that you may go back and finish the other quests. Fallout 3 ended once you finished the story until they released the Broken Steel DLC that allowed you to continue.

I wonder if Mass Effect 3 is gonna be popular enough to justify it's own thread, this one has been great and i'm going to be all over ME3 when it comes out.

Actually hadn't seen this yet, I think I am entirely too OCD about frequently upgrading and changing gear to stay focused on something like this. Getting through the storyline in 2 hours 10 minutes is really impressive, I wouldn't have thought it was possible in that amount of time. There was something similar for Resident Evil 5, someone beat it in 1 hour and 54 minutes but i'm not sure if there was any reward for beating the time though. It's kinda crazy to think that after putting 200+ hours into this game that you can technically beat it in just over two hours. Other developers should take notes, the depth of this game in unmatched.

I think odds are they make an "impact" similar to adding Ian White this past offseason, it was significant but wasn't really a front page newsworthy signing. I think they add another mid-grade player but not sure if they are gonna bring in someone like Semin and mess with the core that has made us the first place team in the NHL.

Gotta remember how young he is too, he has so much room to develop and become a Rick Nash style of player. I think his potential is tremendous and both Colorado and if this is the case St. Louis are giving up on him way too fast. I'd pull the trigger for sure.
