Get him going, now that he has that first goal out of the way, and Bert comes back, that's a pretty decent top 2 lines of Bert - Larkin - Mantha and Ryan - Fabbri - Brome If they would pull their head out of their ass and sit our geezer line, we could have something like Namestnikov - Svechnikov - Hirose and Erne - Glendening - Smith and cycle out Helm, Gagner, Filppula, and Nielsen. Play the kids! -

I'm really baffled by how Bernier never found a long term starter job on any team he's been on before coming here. He's consistently great, he rarely lets in bad goals and he keeps us in every single game he plays in. I don't get it. -

It looks like they are running 7 D tonight with DeKeyser back, Merril, Djoos, Hronek, Biega, Staal, and Nemeth are all in this game. I guess they told him he can play, but if he starts feeling like the injury is nagging, they can pull him and run without being shorthanded on D. -

Zadina - Larkin - Mantha Ryan - Fabbri - Brome Filppula - Glendening - Gagner Helm - Nielsen - Erne Merrill - Hronek Staal - Stetcher Nemeth - Djoos Greiss Biega recalled from the taxi squad, not sure which defensemen is out but these are how the lines are currently posted up as of today so far, Helm is a game time decision but sounding like he's in. SCORE ON THE PP BUMS LGW!

Doc was fine, but I play so much damn NHL that he kind of wore out on me after a while. I never liked Pierre though. Real talk, Gary Thorne and Bill Clement ESPN National Hockey Night is still unmatched. -

End of the period was Zadina - Larkin - Mantha and Ryan - Fabbri - Brome. Both shifts created a good scoring chance, keep those lines in tact and see how it goes. Brome has no chemistry with Larkin or Zadina, maybe they will find some on the 2nd line now. -

I've been happy with him and Stetcher so far, upgrade from what we had last year for sure. Overall the team is allowing less shots against per game too. -

It really looked like Brome had a clear lane to pass to Larkin out front there, not sure why he tried to jam it instead. -
Projected lines for tonight, Dekeyser cleared waivers, Bertuzzi not expected back until at least Wednesday and has not resumed practicing.
