It needs to be kept in the water cooler, that's pretty much the point. We received too many complaints about the main board trying to be about hockey discussion and thrown into pages of off-topic memes, pics, and gifs, and members were getting irritated trying to skim through all of that stuff to find the actual hockey discussion. We are being lenient, but if it persists in the general area of the forums, we are going to have to start submitting warnings again until it stops. Posting hasn't been too heavy the past two seasons, but if you see the members online daily, there's plenty of people still coming just to read through the threads, even if they aren't posting. In an effort to not turn away people who are coming here for hockey and team discussion, it needs to be kept clean and focused on hockey and hockey discussion. Again, there's different forum areas for a reason, and you can spam all the stuff you want in the water cooler, but it needs to be kept out of the general for the most part, exceptions being pre-game GDT, and "x posts for a game x victory" threads.

Sorry guys, it got out of hand. I have specific instructions to lock it down when it goes off the rails like that Blashill thread did. It's my purpose and I must fulfill my duties.
