Well looks like the break did them well I'd probably do a 1 for 1, i'm a fan. He's a great player.

I'll commit to making one quality GDT before the end of the season, just so we don't have a full year without one. Maybe for the last game, we'll see. I'll deck it out like we used to with graphics and whatnot.

I came here thinking "what happened?" because the GDT is already 2 pages and the game isn't on for another 2 hours. Then I remembered there's potentially relevant hockey on tonight, Edmonton and Calgary. I may just watch it honestly, might be a good one.

I'm working also, just gonna track the score on my phone. LGW!

Guys i'll have a computer again on Tuesday and i'll be back regularly, family is in town this weekend also so that's why i've been absent. I despise using my phone for anything except phone calls, texts, and my fantasy hockey app, so trying to navigate and post on here during games got very annoying quick. Apologies for the brief hiatus, but it will be back to normal this week. If any more spam bots attack, please @ me in any thread so I receive the notification and can clean that junk up. Sounds like Howard played well last game, maybe he can step up and find a bit of his game again, it would be a good time with Bernier out. Also Zadina (i'm NOT calling him Zadimples ) netted a goal, which is great to see. It puts him around the 20 goal pace mark if he had played a full season. It's progress, and it's something positive to take away from this season besides the emergence of Hronek and the consistency of Bert Jr. I'll be watching this game and i'll glance at the GDT here and there just to make sure things are civil, but I doubt i'll be posting much tonight. Looking forward to being normal again, LGW!

This team needs a tremendous shake up. If we can't land first or second overall something drastic must happen at this point, even consider trading Larkin. This is not NHL level hockey. I feel like this team might be a bubble playoff team in the AHL. Maybe.

I can't really get behind the conspiracy stuff either, it's a new era and the Wings aren't a stacked dynasty anymore. Even as a last place team, attendance is still high and it's one of the higher revenue teams in the NHL. There isn't some underlying scheme out to get them and setting them up to fail. If it were the NFL I may entertain that idea a bit more.

Even if we finish dead last, it's something like 18.5% odds of getting first overall pick. It's nothing amazing like a 50% or better chance. Sure it gives you the greatest percentage, but that percent isn't that great. There's still an 81.5% chance of not getting first overall.

Last year the 3rd period was our enemy. This year it's the 2nd. Rinne got one last night!

Both Rinne and Abdelkader have 3 points on the season as well. How does that even happen? I'm stuck at work tonight, it's an NHLN game so it would have been blacked out for me anyway. I'll be tracking the score and the thread, but won't be watching tonight. I just want more Zadina points. I want him to heat up and get some confidence going. I keep seeing flashes of a fantastic player in him, now I want to see it more consistently. Hoping he can light it up. Sens on a 5 game losing streak, to our 1 game winner, so who knows how this game goes tonight. Get it done boys, LGW!

Surprised Blash hasn't pulled Howard yet.. When a player is hurt its treated like a delayed penalty.. had the wings touched it they would have blown the whistle. I guess it's a way to prevent players faking injury to draw a whistle during high pressure scenarios.
