I agree, it's not an ideal time to trade a player when they have been out with injury for an extended period of time, especially a concussion. One of those articles did say there was an offer with "three pieces" but Vancouver wanted a 4th which inevitably ended the talks at that time. I don't think a 1 for 1 scenario would be the kind of deal on the table here.

Actually it's kind of odd this speculation was posted up, last night I was talking with a couple of friends of mine that live in Vancouver and are both big nucks fans. They started talking about hearing on the local radio station that the Red Wings had interest in Edler and had inquired with the team. One brought it up and the other confirmed that he heard the same kind of rumor going around. Take it as you will, it's just word of mouth from an unconfirmed source, but this rumor (not involving Franzen or any Wings player names mentioned) does have a little bit of validity for the sake of it being a rumor. I pretty much only play Club/OTP outside of the GM Connected league I run. My EASHL skater is RD, 94 goals 343 assists +117 in 507 games. Legend 3 card, I only play defense.

My wife has a Civilization Revolution addiction, it pleases me that she has her own account and plays games but sometimes, especially now with her having a broken foot, she marathon games for hours on end and keeps my precious xbox away from me. I've been working on the backlog lately, just finished up Mafia 2 and started on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Next on the list will likely be Final Fantasy XIII-2 or i'll return to Dark Souls. I buy up a lot of "Deal of the Week" digital downloads when they are five bucks and now I have a healthy stack of games I need to play. I'm also eagerly awaiting the 2nd part of Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock Infinite.

I was thinking along the lines of "Broken when Datsyuk returns line" but same idea.

Who would I prefer to be sent back down? Glendening. Who will likely be sent back down? Sheahan or Jurco. Unfortunately Monster left the game during first intermission with injury, I hope it doesn't damage his change his path to the Olympics at all and it was something minor. It was a great combined effort from the two tonight.

I believe neither are credited with the shutout, Howard gets the W for playing more minutes. Correct me if i'm wrong someone but I think that's how this works.
