    Doc was fine, but I play so much damn NHL that he kind of wore out on me after a while. I never liked Pierre though. Real talk, Gary Thorne and Bill Clement ESPN National Hockey Night is still unmatched.

    End of the period was Zadina - Larkin - Mantha and Ryan - Fabbri - Brome. Both shifts created a good scoring chance, keep those lines in tact and see how it goes. Brome has no chemistry with Larkin or Zadina, maybe they will find some on the 2nd line now.

    I've been happy with him and Stetcher so far, upgrade from what we had last year for sure. Overall the team is allowing less shots against per game too.

    It really looked like Brome had a clear lane to pass to Larkin out front there, not sure why he tried to jam it instead.

    Projected lines for tonight, Dekeyser cleared waivers, Bertuzzi not expected back until at least Wednesday and has not resumed practicing. Zadina - Larkin - Brome Ryan - Fabbri - Mantha Filppula - Namestnikov - Gagner Nielsen - Glendening - Erne Merrill - Hronek Staal - Stetcher Nemeth - Djoos Greiss LETS GO WINGS!

    I think if Brome can finally pot one, he can open it up a bit. He's noticeable each game, and plays with good energy, but still no points on the season and 8-9 games now on the top line. Call me nuts, but I'd go as far as experimenting with Glendening centering the 2nd line between Ryan and Fabbri. His faceoffs have been great and he brings energy.

    Brome isn't a 1st line player, experiment over. Reunite Larkin and Mantha. Djoos with a real nice goal there.. good patience.

    Stetcher and Merrill have been such great additions on D, they both make a lot of noticeable defensive plays that we didn't have going last season with the likes of Bowey, Biega, and Daley. What a rip Mantha, need more of that

    Jeez you have been around a while, longer than I have. Hopefully we can keep this place afloat. We really are lucky to have such a great broadcast team, I have no complaints at all, they are entertaining and seem to make the best of each game. Mickey is a treasure, seriously. He gets a few laughs out of me each night.

    Yes, it might be 7 games, not 6 I don't recall, but the 0 for 19 on the PP in those losses is right, I remember seeing that earlier. Zadina is looking more comfortable on that right side, get him going and the goals will come. He's shooting more and making some good decisions. LUKE!!
