Tyler Johnson definitely isn't elite either. Tatar has the potential to be a consistent 30+ goal scorer - we need him badly.

Tatar is mediocre? He's one of the few players we have that has natural scoring ability. Give him a long term deal.

the KHL playoffs are going on now and SKA St Petersburg (Datsyuk's team) is playing. I think this is game 2, game 1 is probably on this site if you're interested. He's been a huge part of their power play and success overall. Had a career year this year including 30 goals (between Dallas and Anaheim) Ducks are coming out of the west.
