Your hate for Drew Miller is worse than mine for Cleary Replace Andersson with Athanasiou and I'm on board. I'd also take Miller over Ferarro 10 times out of 10. More to hockey than offence.

This. It can be good to have a shutdown 4th line center against the opposing top line but it shouldnt be EVERY shift. This just basically means were giving up 20 mins of the game because we have no threat of scoring

Yeah but the initial argument was that you can't win with players that play such a dirty way Weber and Benn's skillset far exceeds theyre dirty play in a way where it doesn't have a negative impact on the ice for the team Bertuzzi isn't going to pot points in the NHL. All he can do is agitate. Its kind of like Chris Neil making contact with Mrazek last game, that was the turning point of the contest and negatively impacted his team. Having said that, I think Bert has a place in the NHL but what he did here does NOT help a team in any way.

Hey all, Sorry if this is in the wrong place and mods feel free to move I was wondering if anyone knew of the best place to buy tickets, my girlfriend and I are thinking of travelling to Detroit on NYE for the Pittsburgh game but we can only go if we can find tickets for a fair price since travel costs are going to be extremely expensive in the first place. 0-5. I actually think 4-1 with the lone loss coming to Toronto. We play as good as the team against us is in the standings. I'm sure there will be an OT win mixed in there

I'll go with the usual. Comfortably make the playoffs with a slight amount of panic and excitement. Give a slight glimmer of hope that they could win the first round and ultimately make it to the finals, but lose in game 6 of the first round

Nobody should be sticking up for this team. "10 games in" OK. Were 4-5-1. 2 of those wins should probably be losses. The vancouver OT win was lucky and we won against Carolina with a 47 save performance. Carolina. I haven't seen a single game this season that makes me think we're going to suddenly turn it around and play well. Thats just delusional. Basically we've played two good games so far. Against Toronto, congrats; a team full of borderline NHL players and stacked up with top 12 forwards. Everyone's throwing arms in the air saying it's panic but is common sense...this team just doesn't have it for whatever reason. Coaching? I dont know, but it seems like the most readily available option at this point. This is the worst I've seen these guys play in recent memory.... I wish it was mediocrity but the play I've seen is laughable. Theres not a single reason we should be 4-5-1.

Of course he would. But is it better to have 2 60 point guys or 1 80 point guy? Keep in mind the 2 60 point guys are younger and Perry likely wouldn't keep scoring 50 goals if he came here. (speaking from history)

I wouldn't either. Nyquist + someone else I could live with but I dont think Perry would be a good fit
