I can't handle the breakout anymore. Icing or turnover. Everytime we get something going, one of our extremely defensive defencemen takes an erratic slapshot from the corner of the blue line and destroys momentum -

We are "dominating" but I'd say thats more on Carolina than it is on us. Countless offsides and icings...can't get a decent breakout going, very frustrating to watch for me. No huge scoring chances, thankfully Z capitalized -

If we win and OTT loses, we clinch. We hold the tiebreaker over OTT, but not the same for PIT -

He looked complacent in his last call up but it looks like hes improved now. Hope hes ready to play, because we need some wins. I would think hes in for Cleary, who has had to play 2 games in a row now which is just the worst of news Would have to assume if a top 6 forward were hurt, AA or Miele would be getting the call. Ferraro is going likely be playing on the 4th line with maybe a bit of PK time. Hopefully he does well, because it might be his last shot at the club

Cleary in over Jurco again? I'm not Jurco's biggest fan but if hes not going to play send him down. Cleary is the worst player i've seen put on the wings uniform since the lockout.... hes so irrelevant I dont understand. The whole time hes on the ice you can tell his job is to just get his shift done without screwing up -

Oh absolutely. I was always a Hudler supporter, I could see what he brought to the club especially as a 3rd liner. Him and Fil were great for us as depth He was slow but I didnt really find it hindered him that much with his play. He used what he had to his advantage

Didn't realize until now that were in a 3 way tie with PIT and BOS. OTT catching up too. Were very close to the playoff cutoff.... this is a HUGE game. Getting pretty amped up -
Hudler was always underrated and underappreciated when he played here. He has some of the best passing skills ive seen, but he was a definate liability on defence. In our system that just never worked out

Personally, I could see this team make it all the way or get swept in the 1st round theyre just extremely inconsistent. I guess it depends on what team shows up, alot of variables are set in place

If we get swept, we need to make huge changes. Average team at best, the worst thing an NHL team can consistently do is be a fringe playoff team because we don't get high picks. This is all happening while we have two of the best players in the world...once theyre gone I hate to see how rough we might be Im sure most will disagree, but we basically got swept last season as well and showed nothing to Boston. As it looks right now, we may get swept again but who knows.

There is no C on that line if you do that. I don't think Sheahan is truly capable of being a bonafide 2nd line center in the playoffs either. Not yet anyway. I don't mind tatar on the third, but I'd prefer nyquist down there. They both thrive off lesser competition, Gus more so then Tatar. -
