Gustavsson isn't that good. Hes a career backup and will be nothing more. He looked good lastnight but for every game he looks good he has one where he looks bad. He is way too aggressive and has bad positioning. He doesn't handle getting scored on very well and has questionable confidence. He looks better then he actually is when he makes a save because he plays so erratic and fast. It makes each save look better then it was. Also, he gives up alot of close proximity rebounds, but tends to save them more often then not. I say this as a 50/50 Jimmy supporter

As soon as that goal was scored I knew we were losing in a shootout. Although I did think it would be 2-2 going into OT not 3-3

Also, Howard was pulled last game and you could argue that he should have been after the third goal against the Ducks.. So 2/2 Howard has been solid all season but seems to be shaky coming back from injury. The same could be said last year. Maybe he needs to be feeling 100% in order to be effective, which can be an issue

I like Howard but his rebound control was awful on those two goals and he should probably never suit up in a shootout for the remainder of his career

I agree that Athanasiou should be the next call. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point though, we need everyone in the lineup

I never liked it before but I need a rewarding game mode when I play. GM mode has been destroyed, and compared to Madden its a joke. I refuse to spend an additional dime on this game, but theres NOTHING else to play on it anymore. Glitching has actually been improved on XB1, I don't get as many bad players anymore but obviously theyre still there. Regarding the stacked teams, yeah I've played some ridiculous teams but mine isnt even good. My second line is grabner - vermette - filpulla. My whole team is based on speed and thats why I like to play it. I find the teams that are stacked the player actually sucks so it balances out. Its actually fun to destroy these kids who probably spend upwards of 100$ on theyre team to try and actually look good at NHL

We need Zetterberg. Him, Datsysuk, and Kronwall are all 100% needed for our team to be effective

Yeah pretty crazy to spend such a large amount of money on such a game mode. I finally got Datsyuk the other day, just by buying cards for cheap then selling them off. Takes some time but once I put my mind to it I got enough in about 3 days

Regarding Montreal, That is a very bilingual city. You can speak french or english anywhere. The thing with the team is they are all so hopped up on being proud frenchmen that media and coaches need to be all fluent which is just sad

Its possible. He never really was the same after leaving SJ, and looked REAL bad in what I believe were the Olympics right after. But yeah his potential was certainly there at the time he was going to come here. Im sure he would have stuck around for awhile and possibly had a better end to his career

I still remember how pumped I was when Detroit signed him, then how frustrated I was when NYI claimed him right after. I wonder what would have changed. He was a good goalie at the time

There is more to offence then points. Ill take Kronwall over Franson on the PP any day. Kronwall is a VERY underrated playmaker in the offensive zone. Ill also take Kronwall in my own end to make the first pass 100 percent of the time. Of course, there is no argument that Kronwall is better than Franson defensively. Seriously though, when was the last time a player left the wings and didn't increase their point totals? (Brunner ) If Franson comes here you can expect him to lose 20-30% of that point total, just like any other FA in recent history who came here, other than Hossa

Franson isn't worth anything more than 5M so any GM who wants to offer something like 7M/6years should go right ahead lol Saying this because Holland likely won't, but another GM certainly would I'd still be okay with a trade that doesn't kill us later but lands Franson as a rental
